  • 133: What Happened After the Viral Reel, and How to Find Yourself Again, Even Through Betrayal
    2026/07/14

What happens when one painful moment changes everything you thought you knew about your marriage, your voice, and yourself?

Many of you saw the reel that went viral after I was asked to leave a family gathering because of a T-shirt I wore. What most people didn't see was everything that happened afterward.

In this episode, I open my heart and share the deeply personal journey that followed, from discovering broken trust inside my marriage to questioning my own intuition and rebuilding my relationship with myself.

This isn't a story about having all the answers. It's about what it looks like to move through betrayal without abandoning yourself, to choose healing over bitterness, and to keep leading even while you're still finding your way.

If you've ever experienced betrayal, struggled to trust yourself again, or wondered how to move forward after life changes everything, I hope this conversation reminds you that healing and leadership can exist at the same time.

    In this episode, I shared:

    • The story behind the viral reel and what really happened after it
    • How one moment exposed deeper fractures within my marriage and family
    • What betrayal taught me about authenticity, boundaries, and belonging
    • Why self-trust often breaks before trust in others can be rebuilt
    • How therapy, coaching, transformational work, and community became part of my healing
    • Why we don't have to wait until we're fully healed to continue leading
    • How I turned one of the hardest seasons of my life into a deeper commitment to serving my community
    • How Yes Mujer You Can Live Event was born from this season of healing and transformation
    Three Lessons That Changed Everything

    1. Be fully yourself, even if it makes other people uncomfortable.
I realized I had spent years making myself smaller to keep the peace. Real freedom began when I stopped seeking acceptance and started choosing authenticity.

    2. Use your pain as fuel to elevate your life.
The hardest seasons of your life don't have to stop you. They can become an opportunity to elevate yourself, serve others, and create something bigger than the pain itself.

    3. Rebuilding trust starts with yourself.
Before we can rebuild trust with anyone else, we have to reconnect with our own intuition, values, and inner knowing.

This experience is why I created Yes Mujer You Can, a live event happening in Downtown Los Angeles on September 13, 2026. A space for us to come together, to remember how powerful we really are.

If you're navigating change, rebuilding trust in yourself, or simply looking for a room where you don't have to carry everything alone, I'd love for you to join us. Together, we'll explore leadership, healing, business, and the kind of transformation that lasts long after the event ends.

  • 132: 5 Things I'd Tell Every Latina and Woman of Color Entrepreneur in 2026
    2026/07/01

Building a business in 2026 feels different.

People are buying differently. Trust takes longer to build. Social media has changed. Many of us are carrying the emotional weight of our families, our communities, and everything happening in the world while still trying to grow our businesses.

In this episode, I share the five truths I believe every Latina and woman of color entrepreneur needs to hear right now. These aren't productivity hacks or marketing trends. They're the mindset shifts, leadership practices, and business strategies that are helping me and my clients build businesses that are sustainable, impactful, and deeply aligned with who we are becoming.

    I talked about:

    • Why exhaustion doesn't mean you're failing as an entrepreneur
    • How your nervous system directly impacts your business growth
    • Why trust has become the most important marketing strategy in 2026
    • The role community plays in building a sustainable business
    • Why your authentic voice is one of your greatest business assets
    • How to move from survival mode into intentional leadership
    • What it means to build a business that honors both ambition and well-being
The 5 Things I'd Tell Every Latina & Woman of Color Entrepreneur in 2026

    1. Stop making your exhaustion mean you're failing.
Feeling exhausted doesn't mean you're failing. It may simply mean you're carrying more than ever, and it's time to build in a more sustainable way.

    2. Your nervous system is part of your business strategy.
The way you regulate your nervous system affects your visibility, confidence, leadership, and ability to grow your business.

    3. Trust is the new marketing strategy.
People don't just buy products or services anymore. They invest in people they trust, so lead with consistency, authenticity, and service.

    4. Community is not a luxury. It's infrastructure.
Building alone is expensive. The right community gives you support, accountability, fresh perspective, and the capacity to keep moving forward.

    5. Your voice is needed, but you have to stop diluting it.
Your people don't need a perfect version of you. They need your honest voice, your leadership, and the courage to say what needs to be said.

You don't have to build your business alone. If you're ready to spend a day surrounded by ambitious Latinas and women of color who are committed to growing, healing, and leading together, I'd love to see you at Yes Mujer You Can in Downtown Los Angeles on September 13, 2026. It's a space for powerful conversations, practical tools, and the kind of community that reminds you what's possible when women come together.

  • 131: How to Build a Personal Brand That Actually Gets You Clients with Monica Rivera
    2026/05/27

What if building a powerful personal brand had less to do with creating 100 social media posts, and more to do with learning how to clearly communicate your value?

In this conversation, brand and communication strategist Monica Rivera and I talk about what it really takes to build visibility, trust, and opportunities in today’s world. From navigating survival mode as daughters of immigrant parents to building successful businesses through relationships, public speaking, and consistency, this episode is packed with practical strategies and mindset shifts for women who are ready to stop hiding in plain sight.

    Monica and I talked about:

    • Why every woman now has a personal brand whether she realizes it or not
    • How growing up in survival mode impacts visibility and entrepreneurship
    • Why many women struggle to communicate their value and expertise
    • The importance of public speaking in building trust and attracting clients
    • How to land speaking opportunities even if you’re just getting started
    • Why networking and local community still matter more than ever
    • How to stop relying only on social media for business growth
    • The power of consistency, follow-up, and relationship building
    • Why rejection is part of entrepreneurship and how to stop taking it personally
    • How to create opportunities instead of waiting for someone to choose you
    • How to tap into the frequency of abundance

This episode is a reminder that your visibility matters, your voice matters, and your story matters. You do not need permission to take up space, build your brand, and create opportunities for yourself.
