Is healthy love boring? And why do we keep romanticizing the very relationships that leave us emotionally wrecked?

We thought Season 1 was over, but apparently we had a few more things to say!

This week on We're Doing It!, Sofia and Albert ask why Hollywood keeps giving us strong, independent female characters who make terrible romantic decisions.

From Netflix's Mal de Amores to My Brilliant Career, we're talking about the fine line between female empowerment and self-sabotage, why we keep glorifying toxic relationships, and whether choosing a safe, supportive partner has somehow become the least romantic thing a woman can do.

Michelle shares her journey from addiction and human trafficking to escaping, starting over, returning to nursing school, becoming an LPN, then an RN, and earning her BSN. But this isn't a story about everything suddenly becoming easy once she “made it.” Life continued to bring grief, caregiving, motherhood, loss, and circumstances she never could have planned for.
