This week’s episode dives into the often oversimplified advice to “eat more protein” and unpacks what actually matters for results like fat loss, energy, and hormone balance. I explain why total protein intake is only part of the story, and we explore common mistakes (like backloading protein at dinner or relying on high-fat protein sources) that may be holding you back.

Plus, in Health News You Can Use, I share interesting results of a new study on vegetarian and vegan diets that sheds light on potential risks for bone health. Tune in to learn how to make protein work smarter for your body and your goals.

  • E285: Inflammation 101: The Hidden Driver of Fatigue, Weight Gain & Disease
    2026/04/14
    In this episode:
In health news you can use, a new 2026 study reveals that simplifying your meals (by eating more consistent foods and maintaining steady calorie intake) may actually support greater weight loss. While variety isn’t inherently bad, reducing decision fatigue and creating structured routines around meals could make it easier to stay on track and see results.
In veggies of the matter, we break down the difference between helpful acute inflammation and harmful chronic inflammation, and how the latter contributes to issues like fatigue, digestive problems, and long-term disease. You’ll learn how gut health, diet, lifestyle habits, and targeted supplements all play a role in reducing inflammation and supporting overall wellness.
