The baby is one!! It's soo good to be back in front of the mic, my camera, and with all of YOU! It's been a bit, so I have some stuff to go over with y'all that I can't promise you will absolutely love...I know I don't, but it's temporary.

2023 put me through it, with medical issues, friendship heartbreaks, personal struggles, and feeling like I was always on a hamster wheel with no way off. I've been backed in a corner and spread way too thin at at the expense of others, and while I try and find the balance that I need to have while I complete these very important milestones coming up for myself, I have to make sure my head and heart are as in line and stress-free as possible.

As we start off 2024, I want to make my intentions clear to help you realize how being selfish isn't always a bad thing. I want to share my own personal goals and intentions for how I plan to take better care of myself mentally, physically, and emotionally in hopes it will inspire you to do the same. This is the year I work on my recovery in all aspects, for my own well-being and those I decide I want to grow and progress with.

How has a month gone by since I last talked to you guys?!?

This one gets me a bit emotional, but it's probably my favorite episode I have ever recorded. I think one of the most important things you can do in your life is learn how to sit with yourself, and for me, I've been taking a lot of time to do that. Between social media breaks, health issues, and redefining my relationships, I'm at a place where I truly didn't think I would ever get to, and somehow can even sit and say this is my best year yet. I hope this episode helps you to learn something about yourself, and I can't wait to talk to you guys all about what you think of what I share with you. At the beginning of this podcast, I dropped an episode that talked about how to have a healthy relationship with social media. For one of the few times in my life, I am taking my own advice, and I'm stepping away from social media for a bit. This type of break isn't necessarily one size fits all, especially when some of us have to work from social media, but I will be staying off of my personal pages and not doing any scrolling. It's time I start respecting myself and what I deserve again, and stop being ok with not getting back what I believe I give back. For this guest video episode, I interview my not so little sister who is the proud owner of Sky's The Limit Artistry! As a professional makeup artist who has worked on countless models in settings like NYFW, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, music videos, photo shoots, and more, she has had lots of amazing people in her chair. In this episode, we will talk about how she got to where she is, what it's like balancing life as a business owner and as a 22 year old who still has a life to live, along with how she handles her hard days and relationship through it all. I hope listening to her story helps you to realize that you can start following your passions at any age, and that it's ok to go back and forth until you find somewhere you are happy. I'm such a proud big sis, and can't wait for you guys to hear her story and see her do my makeup for the first time!
