Praise The Lord everyone! I'm glad to be back after a long absence and to give you this word about being still and hearing from God has to say. Being still in God's presence takes time and practice, but in time we will learn that silence brings revelation, clarity, instruction, direction, peace and a desire to please God.

I love praying and talking to God, but I'm learning to listen as well. We pray for answers, guidance, healing, deliverance, etc and God is answering our prayers, but are we listening? When was the last time you sat in silence and just listened? Please begin to implement time in God's presence and just listen. God bless.

About a year ago, I ministered on this topic and God reminded me again that I needed to revisit it and let people know he is mindful of us. With so much uncertainty, we can be certain in God's protection, provision, love and care for each of us. So much is going in right now in our lives, and we need to know that God is near to the brokenhearted and contrite spirit. (Psalm 34:18)

I love the way God repeats his word to us over and over again in case we missed it the first time or forgot about it. He sends it again to let us know he has us in the psalm of his hand. The more you hear it, the more we remember it so when tough times come or when we are challenged in the face of adversity, just remember God is mindful of you and loves you dearly.

Nothing God does is small. He created the world in seven days. That's no small task. He sent his only son Jesus to die for the sins of the world. That's certainly no small thing. And to top it all off, he raised his son from the grave and gave him all power and authority. Nothing small about that. God takes what we have and makes it into something more. He takes our lack, inadequate funds, small faith and turns them into big blessings.

As we approach Ressurection Sunday next week, let us reflect on the big God that we serve that does amazing things. He sent Jesus to us to take on our sins and in his name we have authority over the enemy. We serve an amazing God who continues to do amazing things in us and through us.
