    Fifteen years ago, on a yearlong sabbatical/honeymoon in Uruguay, Jon Christensen established Kelsus, a startup-focused development shop. Kelsus has been the launchpad for over 40 startups, with 12 of them achieving successful acquisitions. Before this, Jon cut his teeth with Denver startups like Boldtech, StorePerform, and IP Commerce, while also learning the art of resilience with Prestotech and Mocapay. Expanding beyond U.S. borders, Jon has fostered innovation in Scandinavia mentoring at Copenhagen Fintech and Techstars Stockholm. Last year, he traveled with his family to Spain for a year, and set up a Kelsus branch in Mallorca. An Amherst College alum with a computer science degree, Jon's expertise has been a beacon for burgeoning businesses across continents. When not steering Kelsus or mentoring, he’s writing his newsletter Startup Win!, skiing the slopes of Vail, or river-surfing in Colorado–keeping the spirit of adventure alive in both work and play.
