  • Why You Lose Weight on Vacation Eating Like a Pig | Ep 26
    2026/08/20

You ate double on holiday. Wine every night, pasta, dessert, no tracking, no gym. And somehow you came home leaner than when you left.

Here is what actually happened. On vacation your stress finally dropped. Work stopped, you slept, you walked all day, you sat in the sun. When stress falls, cortisol falls, and your body stops fighting your insulin. You ate more and stored less, because the thing driving the storage was never the food but the stress.

If you want your everyday body to behave like it is on holiday, check this episode.

  • Why You Gain Weight Every Time You Get Promoted | Ep 25
    2026/08/13

Every time you got promoted, your body seemed to get worse. More money, more responsibility, and somehow more belly fat, higher blood sugar, less energy. Nobody connected those two things for you.

Here is the truth: it was never you slipping. Success itself changes your hormones. More hours, more pressure and less sleep push your cortisol up and keep it there. High cortisol makes you resistant to insulin, so your body needs more of it, and more insulin means more storage, right around your middle. Studies of thousands of workers even show the people under the most job strain gain the most weight around the middle.

  • Why Fat Loss Gets Harder in Your 40s With Type 1 (And What Actually Helps) | Ep 24
    2026/08/05

If you're in your 40s with Type 1 and everything that used to work has quietly stopped — the fat won't move, the blood sugar swings more, the energy dropped — this episode is for you.

It isn't you losing your grip. Your estrogen is changing, and estrogen was quietly running your insulin the whole time. As it declines, your body gets more resistant to insulin, fat shifts to your belly, muscle slips away faster, and your sleep takes a hit — and every one of those makes blood sugar and fat loss harder. For a woman who already injects insulin, it stacks.

But “it's your hormones” is not the end of the story. In this episode I break down exactly what's happening, and the handful of levers that still move the needle — one of which works better in your 40s than it ever did before.

If you want to see what this looks like for your body and your numbers, send me RESET on Instagram and I'll check if I can help.

  • The Workout Blood Sugar Dips That Block Your Fat Loss | Ep 23
    2026/07/29

Your endocrinologist probably gave you one carb rule for exercise: take about 20g of glucose an hour, no matter what. It sounds simple but is also why you crash mid-workout, spike afterwards, and can't work out why the fat won't move.

In this episode I break the three engines down & match them to real workouts — dancing, golf, tennis, strength, Zumba, Pilates — and show you how I adjust my own food and insulin around each one. For high-performing women with Type 1 who train hard and still feel stuck, this is the missing piece.

  • Why Your Weight Loss Never Lasts (And How to Change It) | Ep 22
    2026/07/22

Most coaches track the same four things: calories, macros, weight, and before/after photos. And it works for twelve weeks. You get disciplined, you get the kick, you get the great transformation photo. Then the program ends, you stop, the weight comes back, and you blame yourself for a lack of discipline.

In this episode I explain what I actually track with my Type 1 clients, and why it's the thing that makes results last for life.

  • Why High-Performing Women With Type 1 Diabetes Can't Lose Belly Fat (It's Not Discipline) | Ep 21
    2026/07/15

The busiest women with Type 1 often do everything "right." They eat clean-ish, they train, they push through. And the belly fat still won't move.

In this episode I explain why. and it's usually not discipline, and not genetics.

For a woman with Type 1, it's two things stacking on top of each other: chronic stress, and the insulin you have to inject to live. The more stress you carry, the more insulin you need. And insulin is the body's main fat-storage signal. That's the loop nobody explains.

  • It's Not Your Diabetes Holding You Back. It's Your Mindset | Ep 20
    2026/07/08

This one is tough love. If you're here to grow, it's for you.

Most women come to me certain their diabetes is the thing holding them back. Their energy, their weight, their control. And almost every time, the real thing holding them back isn't the Type 1. It's the mindset around it.

In this episode I talk about the part nobody wants to hear: ownership. Accountability. The quiet

  • Why "Eating Less" Backfires When You Have Type 1 Diabetes | Ep 19
    2026/07/02

Every coach gives women the same advice for fat loss: eat less, stay in a deficit. For a woman with Type 1, that advice works against you. In this episode I break down why.

When you cut calories, your sugar drops, you correct the low with fast sugar, and those calories come right back. So to hold the deficit you end up cutting the only things left — your protein and your fats — the exact things your body needs for muscle, hormones, sleep, and a calm nervous system. More cravings. A race to the bottom you can't win.

I walk through the two-part fix: first, getting your blood sugar steadier so you're forced into fewer corrections, and second — the non-negotiable — raising how much you burn with smart strength and interval training, so your body loses fat without you starving it.

Send me a DM on Instagram 'PROTOCOL' for my free training protocol to raise your burn and lose the fat — without the race to the bottom.
