  • Why You SHOULD Care: The Real Rebellion Against ‘We Don’t Care’ Culture
    2025/10/20

The “We Don’t Care” culture is trending — and on thesurface, it sounds empowering. We see it everywhere: “I don’t care what people think.” “I don’t care that my husband left.” “I don’t care I don’t have any friends.” But underneath the slogans and sass, something deeper is happening. We’re confusing not caring with being strong, when in reality, true strength comes from caring deeply — about who we are, how we show up, and what kind of life we’re creating.

In this raw and real episode of the Say Yes Experience,we’re flipping the narrative. Because here’s the truth: when you stop caring, you stop connecting. You stop growing. You stop paying attention to what your soul is trying to tell you. You go numb — and numb isn’t empowered.

We’ll unpack why “not caring” has become an emotional shield for so many women — a way to avoid rejection, failure, or the discomfort of change. And we’ll talk about what it really looks like to care differently: to care enough to speak your truth, to chase your dreams, to demand more from your relationships, and to stop hiding behind excuses or circumstances.

You’ll hear real talk about what caring looks like when:

This isn’t about makeup, perfection, or pretending to haveit all together. It’s about intentional living. It’s about showing up boldly for your one life — with curiosity, courage, connection, and confidence.

Because when you care — really care — you take your powerback.
You stop living on autopilot and start living with purpose.
You start saying yes to yourself, and no to everything that keeps you small.

So no, we’re not joining the “We Don’t Care Club.”
We’re starting something stronger — a movement of women who care so deeplyabout their lives that they refuse to settle for less than extraordinary.

  • #63: The Confidence You Want is Hiding Behind Embarrassment
    2025/10/13

What would your life look like if you stopped letting embarrassment and judgment hold you back? How many opportunities, adventures, and memories are you missing out on because you’re worried about how you’ll be perceived?

In this episode of the Say Yes Experience Podcast, Jessica shares a hilarious yet eye-opening story from Day 11 of her 100 Days of Say Yes Experiences Challenge. For Mother’s Day, she and her son went thrift shopping, picked out the most outrageous outfits they could for each other, and then wore them—proudly or not so proudly—out to dinner.

One of them walked tall, smiling and laughing, completely unbothered by what anyone thought. The other? Hunched shoulders, nervous glances, and wishing they could disappear. But as the night unfolded, something shifted. What started as a silly experiment with mismatched clothes turned into a powerful lesson about confidence, courage, and the freedom that comes from living unapologetically.

    In this episode, you’ll discover:

If you’ve ever felt held back by fear of judgment or the weight of other people’s opinions, this episode is your reminder that you don’t have to live that way anymore. The freedom you want is already available—you just have to choose it.

So if you’re ready to stop shrinking, stop second-guessing, and finally start living boldly for yourself, this episode is your permission slip to begin.

✨ And wait until you hear what happened in the parking lot after dinner—it’s the perfect example of how quickly embarrassment can creep back in… and what you can do about it.🎁

  • #62: From Sidelines to Front Line: How to Stop Playing Small
    2025/10/06

On Day 10 of my 100 Days of Say Yes journey, I finally crossed something off my “someday” list: paintball. Ever since watching 10 Things I Hate About You as a teenager, I thought, one day, I’m going to do that. But year after year, I didn’t. Why? Because everyone told me the same thing: “Paintball hurts.”

    So, I avoided it—until now.

This episode takes you behind the scenes of my first paintball match: a one-on-one showdown against my son, B. Spoiler alert: he shot me in the head (and I definitely didn’t see it coming). But what surprised me most wasn’t the sting of the paintball—it was how quickly my fear and self-doubt dissolved once I stepped into the game.

Even more eye-opening? When I played with a larger team, I told myself I’d stay back, play safe, and avoid pain. But in the heat of the moment, instinct took over, and I pushed to the front line. The paintball employee said it best: “You doubted yourself—you said you’d stay back, but you charged forward.”

This episode isn’t just about paintball. It’s about how fear, stories, and doubt keep us from stepping into our own front lines in life.

Here’s what you’ll take away from this episode:

    1. The Story Hurts More Than the Reality — Most of the pain we fear is imagined, fueled by other people’s warnings or our own mental scripts.

    2. Courage Comes Before Confidence— Sometimes you don’t feel ready, but action proves that you are braver than you think.

    3. Front Line Living Unlocks Growth — The place you fear most might be exactly where your potential is waiting.

If you’ve ever found yourself holding back because of what “they say” or because you doubted yourself, this episode is your nudge to stop playing defense and step into the front line of your own life.

  • #60 - The Secret to Living Boldly: Fall First
    2025/09/22

Most people spend their whole lives avoiding the fall. They grip tighter, play it safe, and convince themselves they’re not ready yet. But here’s the truth: the second you fall, the fear disappears.

On Day 8 of 100 Days of Say Yes Experiences, I stepped onto an aerial hoop for the very first time. My arms were shaking, my body was moving in ways it hadn’t in years—and before I even found my rhythm, I fell. Hard. And you know what? That fall was the best thing that could’ve happened. Because once I got it out of the way, the fear had no power over me anymore.

This episode isn’t about circus tricks. It’s about life. It’s about learning to trust yourself, discovering strength you didn’t know you had, and realizing that falling isn’t failure—it’s freedom.

If you’ve been waiting for the “perfect moment,” hesitating because you’re afraid of messing up, this is your wake-up call. Stop waiting. Stop gripping so tight. The magic doesn’t happen when you play it safe—it happens when you fall first.

👉 Listen in to discover why the thing you’ve been avoiding might just be the breakthrough you need.

  • #59 - You Can’t Stretch Yourself as Far as Someone Else Can
    2025/09/15

When was the last time you let yourself be pushed beyond what felt comfortable?

Most people convince themselves they’re going all in — in their careers, their relationships, their health — but the truth is, we usually stop the second it gets uncomfortable. We hit resistance and pull back. We tell ourselves we’re “stretching,” when in reality we’re protecting ourselves from pain. And that’s exactly why we plateau.

On Day 7 of my 100 Days of Say Yes Experiences, I signed up for something I thought would be simple: a professional stretching session. I figured, why pay someone to do what I can do myself? But within minutes, I realized just how wrong I was.

The difference between stretching myself and being stretched by a professional was massive. Alone, I would have quit the moment it got uncomfortable.

    In this episode, we unpack:

    • Why the pain you avoid is the exact thing standing between you and your next breakthrough.

    • How resisting discomfort only prolongs the struggle, while releasing accelerates progress.

    • The hidden cost of comfort — how staying “safe” actually shrinks your capacity over time.

    • Why you can’t take yourself as far as a coach, mentor, or guide can — and how to find the people who can stretch you further than you’d ever go alone.

    • How micro-stretches (small daily actions) compound into long-term transformation — and why most people quit before results kick in.

    • Why trust in others and in yourself — is the foundation for every stretch forward.

This episode isn’t just about stretching your body. It’s about stretching your mindset, your courage, your dreams, and your belief in what’s possible. If you’ve been holding yourself back, resisting change, or convincing yourself you’re “fine,” this is your invitation to go deeper, push harder, and finally move past the invisible ceiling keeping you stuck.

✨ Challenge for you: ask yourself today — Where do I need to be stretched? Maybe it’s in your business. Maybe it’s in your relationships. Maybe it’s in your confidence. And then find the person, the coach, the guide who can pull you further than you’d ever go alone.

🎧 Listen now and share this episode with a friend who needs the reminder that growth only happens when you’re willing to go past comfort.

  • #58 - Why Fear of Judgment Is More Dangerous Than Lightning
    2025/09/08

Most people run from storms. I walked straight into one — and danced.

On Day 6 of my 100 Days of Say Yes Experiences, I found myself staring out at a thunderstorm, stuck in a battle between two fears: the real danger of lightning… and the imagined danger of what people might think. Would my neighbors judge me? Would I look foolish? Would someone wonder if I’d lost it?

The truth is, fear of judgment almost stopped me more than the storm itself. And that’s the lesson hidden in this simple act.

In this episode, I take you behind the scenes of what really happened when I finally stepped outside and danced in the rain. You’ll hear:

    • Why does the fear of judgment holds us back more than the fear of failure?

    • How tiny, playful moments like this can build your courage muscle for the big decisions.

    • The ripple effect one bold yes can have on everyone around you.

    • A personal challenge that will push you to break your own invisible rules.

This isn’t just about rain — it’s about breaking free from the cage of approval, reconnecting with joy, and saying yes to the parts of life most adults have forgotten.

By the end, you won’t just hear my story. You’ll be ready to create your own.

What’s the dream you keep putting off?

You talk about it. You think about it. Maybe it’s even on your vision board.

But deep down… You haven’t taken the first step.

Not because you don’t want it .

But because you’re scared you’ll fail, won’t be good enough, or won’t be chosen.

In this episode of The Say Yes Experience, we’re talking about that dream—and the real reason you haven’t moved on it yet.

Jessica shares the vulnerable truth behind finally applying for her TEDx Talk after years of waiting. Not because she felt “ready.” But because she got tired of letting fear write the story.

    If you’ve ever:

    • Delayed something important because of doubt or perfectionism

    • Watched others get what you want and asked, “Why not me?”

    • Talked yourself out of taking the next step… again

This is your sign. This is your push. This is your say yes moment.

You don’t need to be 100% ready. You just need to stop saying no to yourself.
