• 🎙 From Stuck to Strong: How to Find Yourself Again
    2025/08/19

Have you ever woken up one day and realised life will never be the same again? Maybe it was after a divorce, the loss of a job, a family breakdown, or just that creeping feeling that you’ve lost yourself along the way. You know something has shifted, but the question is: Where do I start? How do I find myself again?

In this powerful episode of The Resilience Movement Podcast, I walk with you through the process of moving from stuck to strong. Together, we’ll explore what to do when you feel lost, how to take those very first steps, and what it really means to become the person you want to be.

You’ll hear practical strategies, heartfelt stories, and tools you can use right now to:

    • Accept that life has changed and stop fighting the “old normal.”
    • Identify small, intentional actions that help you ground yourself.
    • Reconnect with your future self and start living from that place today.
    • Build momentum through consistency instead of chasing big leaps.
    • Stay on track when distractions and old patterns try to pull you back.
    • Handle setbacks with compassion, not self-criticism, so they strengthen you instead of break you.
    • Celebrate growth over perfection — because progress is what truly matters.

This conversation is a reminder that you don’t need to have it all figured out. Growth is not about never stumbling; it’s about learning to rise each time, stronger and clearer than before. Just like when you learned to walk as a baby — nobody doubted you’d make it, even when you fell. That same belief is what you need to hold for yourself today.

If you’ve been feeling pulled in different directions, questioning your worth, or wondering if you’ll ever feel like you again, this episode will meet you exactly where you are. You’ll leave with hope, perspective, and practical steps to start rewriting your story.

From stuck to strong, from lost to found — you have everything within you to create the life you deserve.

  • Compartmentalising & Using Your Emotional Intelligence to Stay on Track
    2025/08/10

Compartmentalizing & Emotional Intelligence: How to Stay on Track When Life Gets Messy

    Episode Description:
Ever had one of those days where one bad moment threatens to derail everything? A tough conversation before a meeting. A personal issue that bleeds into work. A challenge that sits heavy on your mind and steals your focus.

In this episode, I’m diving into the art of healthy compartmentalizing — the skill of putting challenges into a “mental box” so you can stay focused on what matters most right now, and come back to deal with those challenges later. When paired with Emotional Intelligence, this becomes one of the most powerful tools for resilience, leadership, and personal growth.

I share a defining chapter from my own journey — a moment when life threw me into chaos just weeks after launching a new business. With my back against the wall, bills to pay, clients to serve, and no time to fall apart, I had to dig deep and use these skills to keep moving forward.

This isn’t about avoiding problems or pushing feelings down forever. It’s about managing your emotional state, protecting your focus, and giving yourself permission to show up fully — even when things are messy behind the scenes.

    You’ll learn:
✨ The 4 components of Emotional Intelligence and how they help you compartmentalize effectively
✨ Practical tools to keep emotions from spilling into the wrong moments
✨ Why this skill builds resilience, resourcefulness, and trust — in yourself and in others
✨ How to create boundaries, rituals, and “reset buttons” to help you shift your state quickly

Whether you’re leading a team, running a business, or navigating life’s curveballs, this episode will help you stay steady, protect your energy, and keep moving toward your goals — even in the middle of a storm.

🎧 Listen now and learn how to box it, focus, and keep going.

  • 🎙️Whole-Person Relationships: How Self-Love and Identity Shape Connection | Toby Whittington
    2025/06/08

In this episode of The Resilience Movement, I’m joined by Toby Whittington – an advocate, academic, and coach whose diverse life experience has shaped his powerful work in relational wellness. With over three decades of self-employment across creative, charitable, and sustainability-focused industries, Toby’s journey took a deeply personal turn following his diagnosis with Klinefelter’s Syndrome (47 XXY). Rather than viewing this as a limitation, Toby reframed his experience into a path of self-acceptance, later embracing his identity as a proud intersex person.

Today, he’s an accredited sexologist, a relationship coach, and a master’s student in counselling, using both lived and scholarly insight to guide others in forming Whole-Person Relationships.

    We explore:

✨ What it means to be in a Whole-Person Relationship – and why this framework is vital in today’s disconnected world

✨ How Toby’s diagnosis became a catalyst for deeper self-love, identity integration, and emotional resilience

✨ The limiting beliefs many carry around love, intimacy, and identity – and how Toby has challenged these, personally and professionally

✨ How trauma-informed coaching, academic theory, and real-world experience combine to support healing in relationships

✨ Why vulnerability is not a weakness, but a bridge to deeper connection with oneself and others

✨ Practical advice for those beginning their own journey toward relational authenticity and self-trust

This conversation is rich in insight for anyone navigating personal reinvention, emotional healing, or seeking a more compassionate approach to connection. Whether you're beginning your healing journey or a seasoned practitioner looking to deepen your understanding of relational dynamics, Toby offers a grounded and integrative perspective that blends academic rigor with human warmth. 🔗 To connect with Toby or learn more about his work, you can find him at https://www.whole-person-relationships.com/ 🧡 As always, thank you for listening to The Resilience Movement. • The Cost of Holding It All In: A Conversation for Men (and Those Who Love Them)
    2025/05/17

🎙️ Welcome to The Resilience Movement Podcast — I’m your host, Donna Moulds, and I’m so glad you’re here.

This podcast is about more than just “getting through” tough times — it’s about rising, rebuilding, and reclaiming the life you deserve. We’re here for the deep work — not surface-level positivity or quick fixes. Because when life knocks you down, you don’t need platitudes… you need tools, truth, and people who’ve walked the path.

Resilience isn’t something you either have or don’t — it’s something you build, moment by moment, choice by choice.

And today, we’re leaning into a conversation that’s long overdue — a raw, honest look at men’s mental health, emotional well-being, and what it really means for a man to take the lead in his own life — not just in career or fitness or finance — but internally.

And to help us unpack this, I’m joined by someone who walks this talk every day.

He’s a certified coach, a straight-shooter, and someone I deeply admire for the way he holds space for men to come home to themselves — with clarity, courage, and compassion.

Please welcome to The Resilience Movement, Stephen Cole — the founder of Emotional Wisdom and a powerful voice in the movement to change the way men see themselves and each other.

Lets Talk Mens Wellbeing, Relationships with Steve Cole - Emotional Wisdom

In this episode, we’ll explore Stephen’s personal story — what led him to coach men, and why this work matters now more than ever.

We’ll talk about the silent weight many men carry — the pressure to perform, to provide, to hold it all together — and the cost of never being taught how to process, feel, or express what’s really going on beneath the surface.

Stephen shares insight into the emotional barriers many men face, how he creates safety in his coaching spaces, and what it looks like when a man finally gives himself permission to be both strong and soft, capable and vulnerable.

We also talk legacy — how this inner work transforms not only men’s lives, but how they show up in fatherhood, in their relationships, and in the impact they leave behind.

If you’re a man who’s been pushing through, or someone who loves one — this episode is for you.

    Let’s dive in.

  • Don’t Let Your Story Keep You Small
    2025/04/22

🎙️ Episode Title: Don’t Let Your Story Keep You Small
Host: Donna Moulds | The Resilience Movement

Have you ever felt like your past disqualified you from becoming who you truly are? That your mistakes, your pain, your story — somehow made you less than? In this raw and reflective episode, Donna shares her personal journey through divorce, family estrangement, guilt, and the deep process of self-forgiveness.

She opens up about the shame that shaped her identity and the moments that triggered a shift — including a life-changing quote from Brené Brown and learning to embrace gratitude in its simplest form.

✨ Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is let go of the story that tells us we’re not enough.

    In this conversation, you’ll hear:

    • Why shame and guilt can be the most debilitating emotions we carry
    • How generational expectations shaped Donna’s early beliefs about marriage and failure
    • The moment she realised healing had to start with her — not with everyone else
    • The quiet power of gratitude to soften pain, even when life still feels messy
    • Why forgiveness — especially self-forgiveness — is not for others, but for you

This episode is a reminder that healing isn’t a straight line, and you don’t need to have it all together to begin. Your story doesn’t make you small. It makes you wise. And your voice just might be the light someone else is waiting for.

💬 If this touched something in you, I’d love to hear from you.
Message me, share your story, or let me know what part resonated.

Until next time — keep softening where you can, and never let your story keep you small.

  • How to Stay Resilient in a Toxic Workplace
    2025/04/18

🎙️ Episode: How to Stay Resilient in a Toxic Workplace

Toxic workplaces can leave you feeling drained, disrespected, and disconnected—but you don’t have to lose yourself in the chaos. In this episode, we're diving deep into what it means to stay resilient when you're surrounded by gossip, manipulation, or poor leadership. Because the truth is, your peace is worth protecting.

Inspired by Michelle Obama’s words, “When they go low, we go high,” we unpack how you can rise above without falling apart. You’ll learn why toxic behavior takes such a toll on your mental and emotional health—and more importantly, how to keep your energy grounded and your values intact.

✨ In this episode, we explore:

    • What defines a toxic workplace
    • How toxicity affects your mindset and self-worth
    • Why staying silent vs. speaking up comes with risk—and strategy
    • How to confide in the right people without fuelling more drama
    • Tools to help you stay calm, focused, and aligned with your truth

This is for anyone who has ever:

✔️ Walked on eggshells at work
✔️ Felt the emotional weight of dysfunction
✔️ Been labelled for calling out poor behavior
✔️ Needed a reminder of their worth and their power

You’ll also hear how documenting facts, setting boundaries, and choosing when not to react can actually be your greatest strength.

💭 Remember: you win when you stop playing their game. You win when you choose your response with intention, not emotion. And sometimes… you win by walking away with your head held high.

If this conversation resonates, I’d love to hear what part hit home for you.

  • The Mirror We Hold – Modeling Self-Love for Our Children
    2025/04/17

The Mirror We Hold – Modeling Self-Love for Our Children

    🧡 Episode Summary:

In today’s deeply personal episode, I share a moment that changed my life — the day I realised that how I was treating myself was teaching my children how to treat themselves.

This one is for every mother who’s ever said:

“I just want my kids to love themselves.”

Because here’s the truth that hit me like a tidal wave:
How could I expect them to do that… if I wasn’t showing them how?

I was staying silent to keep the peace.
    I was overgiving.
    I was putting myself last.
And while I thought I was being strong and loving — I was modeling self-sacrifice, not self-worth.

💔 The guilt and shame I felt when that awareness landed was overwhelming.
It was a level of confronting I wasn’t prepared for — and it almost crushed me.

But that moment of truth? It became my turning point.

In this episode, I talk about:

    • The hidden messages we pass down to our children through our own self-worth
    • How I found myself in therapy, unlearning generational patterns
    • Why self-love is not selfish — it’s legacy work
    • The simple, powerful shifts I made that changed how my children see themselves (and me)

If you’re a parent who’s ever questioned how to raise emotionally healthy kids — this episode is for you.

    It’s raw. It’s honest. It’s real-life growth.

💬 I also leave you with a reflection:
What are your children learning from how you treat yourself?

You are not behind. You are not broken.
