  • Kicking Ass with Rachel Burson

    We sit down with LA puppet builder, puppet wrangler and puppeteer Rachel Burson to talk about which two soft skills have most impacted her leadership style. Rachel began pursuing puppetry 2015 as a self taught builder. Since then she has grown and worked on projects for various companies like The Jim Henson Creature Shop, Swazzle Inc., Nickelodeon, Noggin and The Muppets Studio. She also owns her own personal puppetry business, rachelmadestudio. Rachel has built and wrangled on projects such as: Muppets Mayhem, Waffles + Mochi, Slumberkins, Duff's Happy Fun Bake Time, Crank Yankers, The Barbarian and The Troll, The B Street Theatre’s production of Winnie the Pooh, Womp & Co, Little Big Awesome, My Friend T, and the NBA 2023 Christmas commercial and more.
