  • 004: Defining Chiropractic, Innate Law and Analysis: A Debate with Dr. Eddie Weller
    2026/10/19

"Chiropractic is what you say it is. Just ask any chiropractor." Is that a joke, or the profession's biggest problem?

Dr. Mark Romano and Dr. Eddie Weller return for a second conversation that quickly becomes a debate. They push each other on definitions, on the source of the innate law, and on whether chiropractic is a science that can be logically defended or something closer to a belief.

The conversation moves into analysis: advanced muscle palpation, instrumentation, pattern analysis, and the case for post-analysis as the only way to know an adjustment actually happened.

    In this episode:

    - Why the profession still can't agree on a definition, and why that matters

    - Innate law as a principle versus a source to be named

    - Advanced muscle palpation, instrumentation and pattern analysis compared

    - Why diversified technique has no post-analysis, and what that means

    - Principle 25: the character of innate forces

    - What "successful" means for a congruent chiropractor

  • 003: Two Models, One Profession? A Debate with Dr. Tim Young
    2026/10/12

What is the adjustment, and who makes it: the chiropractor, or the innate law?

Dr. Mark Romano debates Dr. Tim Young, a Cleveland graduate practicing in Oklahoma City and founder of Focus Foundations. Both are committed to chiropractic principles. They differ on what those principles mean in an office full of real people who want to know what chiropractic will do for them.

Dr. Young describes his model in terms of restoring motion to the joint. Dr. Romano presses on the difference between introducing a force and the adjustment of a vertebral subluxation, and why the objective, not the technique, separates the two models of chiropractic.

    In this episode:

    - The objective as the real dividing line between chiropractic models

    - "The chiropractor does not make the adjustment," and what that means in practice

    - What Reggie Gold actually said, and what he didn't

    - Why no chiropractor can predict which physiological function will improve

    - Which schools remain closest to the non-therapeutic model

    - Why education starts on the first visit and never stops

  • 002: The State of Chiropractic Leadership: Protecting the Vertebral Subluxation, with Dr. Travis Corcoran
    2026/10/06

Who is actually protecting the vertebral subluxation, legally, academically and professionally?

Dr. Mark Romano, president of The Chiropractic Trust, sits down with Dr. Travis Corcoran, president of the IFCO, president of the European Chiropractic Academy, founder of TopChiro, and a fundraising team member for the Chiropractic Freedom Coalition. Two leaders who agree on more than they disagree on, talking openly about the state of the profession.

They compare definitions of chiropractic, map the differences between the IFCO, the ICA and the WFC, and make the case that every chiropractor depends on the subluxation's continued legal and academic standing.

    In this episode:

    - How each of them defines chiropractic, and where the non-therapeutic model fits

    - The real difference between the IFCO, the ICA and the WFC

    - Why adding modalities and other services destabilizes a stable professional model

    - The three fronts of protecting the subluxation: legal, academic and organizational

    - Two models of chiropractic, and whether they amount to two professions

    - Why disagreement between leaders is a strength, not a threat
