  • Day 351 | Ezra: Intro | Revelation 8:The 7th seal is opened
    2024/12/18

Day 351 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE.

In Ezra 1-2:1-67, King Cyrus of Persia allows the Jewish people to return to Jerusalem after being exiled in Babylon. He even helps them rebuild the Temple by returning items taken by the Babylonians. Many Jewish families make the journey back, and they're listed by name in these chapters. It's a time of hope and new beginnings for them as they start rebuilding their lives and their place of worship in Jerusalem.

In Revelation 8-9:1-12, it talks about seven angels with seven trumpets, each causing different events when they blow their trumpets. When the first four angels blow their trumpets, various disasters strike the earth, like hail and fire, a burning mountain falling into the sea, and a star falling on rivers. The fifth angel's trumpet causes a star to fall from heaven, opening a bottomless pit. From this pit, locust-like creatures emerge and torment people who do not have God's mark. These chapters in Revelation are about warnings and judgments during the end times.

  • Day 350 | Malachi warns against stealing from God | Revelation 7: The 144,000
    2025/12/16

Day 350 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE.

In Malachi 2:17 to 4, God talks to His people about how they've been acting wrongly, questioning His justice. He promises to send a messenger to prepare the way for Him. Then, God Himself will come to judge and purify people. The last chapter gives hope: those who respect God will be blessed, but those who do bad things will face judgment. It ends with a promise to send Elijah before a great and terrible day of the Lord, to turn hearts towards each other and God.In Revelation 7, John sees two groups: First, 144,000 people from Israel's tribes are marked to be protected by God. Then, he sees a huge crowd from all over the world standing before God's throne in heaven. They praise God, and it's explained that they went through hard times but now they're with God, who will take care of them forever. It's a vision of hope and God's care for His people through tough times.

  • Day 349 | Malachi: Jews dishonor the Lord | Revelation 6: 4 horsemen of the apocalypse
    2025/12/15

Day 349 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE.

In Malachi 1 and 2:1-16, God is speaking to the people of Israel. He reminds them of His love and warns the priests about not honoring Him properly. He's upset because they offer blemished sacrifices, which disrespects Him. God wants the priests to be sincere and teach His ways truthfully. He also talks about how people should be faithful in their marriages and not be unfair to their wives. This section of the Bible teaches about respecting and honoring God, and being faithful and fair in our relationships.

In Revelation 6, John describes a vision of the opening of the first six seals by Jesus. Each seal reveals something different:

    1. The first seal introduces a rider on a white horse, symbolizing conquest.
    2. The second seal reveals a rider on a red horse, representing war.
    3. The third seal shows a rider on a black horse, symbolizing famine.
    4. The fourth seal brings a rider on a pale horse, representing death.
    5. The fifth seal reveals the souls of those who were killed for believing in God, asking for justice.
    6. The sixth seal causes great natural disasters, like earthquakes and the sun turning black, showing God's power and the coming judgment.

This chapter in the Bible is about God's power and the big changes that will happen in the world at the end of times.

    2024/12/14

In Esther chapters 6 to 8, King Ahasuerus discovers that Mordecai, Esther's cousin, had once saved his life but was never rewarded. 2025/12/11

Day 345 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE.

In Esther 1-2:1-18, King Ahasuerus throws a big party, but Queen Vashti refuses to come when called. The king gets upset and looks for a new queen. Jesus urges them to strengthen what remains of their faith and to remember and obey what they have learned. He promises that those who stay strong in their faith and overcome sin will be dressed in white and will not be erased from the Book of Life. Jesus encourages them to listen to the Holy Spirit.
