But even when they are super sad, they remember that God is kind and cares about them. Every new day, they think about God's love. They hope that if they think about what they did wrong and say sorry, God will be close to them again.

Paul writes a letter to Philemon from prison. In this letter, Paul talks about a man named Onesimus, who used to be Philemon's slave but ran away. However, Onesimus met Paul and became a Christian. Now, Paul is sending him back to Philemon, not as a slave, but as a brother in Christ. Paul asks Philemon to welcome Onesimus with love and to forgive him. He even says if Onesimus owes Philemon anything, Paul will pay it back. Paul trusts that Philemon will do even more than he asks. He hopes to visit Philemon soon, and he asks Philemon to prepare a guest room for him. The letter ends with greetings from other Christians with Paul and a wish for God's grace to be with Philemon's spirit.
