  • We've hit our target - Now it's time to walk the walk
    2026/04/28

It's the Season 6 finale and the 12 mile charity walk is just around the corner. We get into where we're at with training, including our first proper walk out to our starting point, testing out some routes and getting a feel for what the day is going to look like.

We also talk a change to the finish location, why we've made it, and how we're planning to approach the walk itself.

A big thank you as well to everyone who has donated so far. We may have hit our initial target for Andy's Man Club, but there's still time to keep that going.

  • The 12 charity mile walk is getting real
    2026/04/21

With our 12 mile charity walk getting closer, we're back on the scales and properly getting into our walk training. It's been a bit up and down if we're honest, but we're starting to build some momentum and figure out what it’s actually going to take to get through it.

We talk weight loss, walking for fitness and how easy it is to fall in and out of routine, especially when life gets in the way.

There's also a trip to a TMNT cinema event, a couple of comedy shows, and everything else that's been going on alongside trying to get ourselves ready for the challenge.

A mix of progress, honesty and figuring it out as we go.

  • Stephanie Waring: Hollyoaks, mental health & Breaking the Script
    2026/04/14

This week we're joined by Stephanie Waring, best known as Cindy Cunningham from Hollyoaks.

We start off where you'd expect with a bit of Hollyoaks chat and Rich questioning his memory of the show: Cindy really did marry Tony twice!

From there it turns into a much deeper conversation as Steph talks about taking the gamble at 17 to go all in on acting, and what it's actually been like building a career in that world over time.

She opens up about eating disorders, body confidence and how those things don't just disappear, they follow you through life.

There's some really relatable stuff in here from our side as well around mental health, confidence, and how easy it is to get stuck in your own head.

We also talk about what happens when life throws you curveballs and how we adapt when things don't go to plan.

Steph also shares more in her book Breaking the Script, which we've both read and thoroughly recommend.

  • Charity walk training & DIY disasters
    2026/04/07

We're back this week with a proper Rich and T.A. catch-up.

Rich finally gets out for his first proper walk as we build towards our 12 mile charity fund raiser, while T.A. takes on some DIY, which ended up taking funnier twists and turns than a Carry On film.

We're also back on the scales with another weigh-in, and Rich talks about a post work meet up at the Desi Yew Tree in Wolverhampton, and it's very odd location in the city.

A bit of progress, a bit of pain, and a very good curry.

  • Breaking Bad, injury struggles & walk progress
    2026/03/31

We're back in the studio this week with plenty to catch up on.

T.A. & Mrs. Shelano went to see The Battle, the story of Blur vs Oasis. Then, they were in London to see Bryan Cranston, star of Breaking Bad, live on stage in a special one night only talk hosted by Romesh Ranganathan.

We're talking the walk and Rich's random injury out of nowhere, leaving T.A. to walk our first training session on his own.

Oh, and the weigh-in is back once again!

Give it a listen, and don't forget to rate the episode and drop a review. It really does help us out.

  • Brian Hall: Men's Mental Health, Tech Addiction & Living Offline
    2026/03/24

This week we're joined by Brian Hall for a really honest chat about men's mental health, tech overload, and what happens when you try to switch off from it all.

We talk about Brian's journey from working in tech to stepping away from the constant noise and learning to better understand his own emotions. It turns into a proper conversation about why men find it hard to open up, how different things can be depending on where you live, and why having those spaces to talk really matters.

We also get into how much time we all spend on our phones without even realising and what it's doing to our attention spans.

Beta read Brian's book: How to Feel Your Feels

  • ABBA, Vikings & The Sopranos
    2026/03/17

In this episode we're back with another weigh-in update, although Rich may have slightly undone his progress with a weekend away in York.

Rich talks about his trip to the historic city, including great food, the Jorvik Viking Centre, and surprisingly enjoying an ABBA tribute show, having not been that big of a fan previously. Meanwhile, T.A. shares what it was like finally seeing two Sopranos actors live after a six-year wait, and why audience Q&As can be a risk if the questions aren't up to par.

We're also introducing our brand new segment, "Talk The Walk", where we'll be tracking our training for the upcoming 12-mile charity walk for Andy's Man Club.
