Today we talk about small steps and why and how they are so important. It is less important what exactly we are working towards and more about the fact that we are progressing.
Many, many people want to be fit. But few have found a way to define what they, in their hearts, believe fitness is. My Dad, Jim, and I have been working hard this past year to define what great fitness means to us, and to find a way to help others help themselves work towards better mental and physical fitness. Health does not equal losing weight. It does not equal big muscles, or perfectly clean eating, being happy all the time, a flat stomach, perfect balance...no.
Health, and better physical and mental fitness, means baby steps. It means realizing that going backwards does not exist. That taking 1-2 months to stop worrying about your weight and about a diet and about perfection (AKA - healing) is often what we need in order to prepare ourselves for getting stronger and smarter. To grow from within. No amount of what are perceived as “missed days” of your meal plan or workout plan can ever put you backwards in your journey.
Today, we talk about moving ahead and what that currently means to you. We talk about why most diets and exercise do not work, and why a program like ours can be a better fit for you.
