  • Ep. 6 | What it's Like to Train at Home w/ Nate Green
    2023/03/13

Today’s guest is a good friend of mine who I’ve known for many years, Nate Green. Nate is a personal trainer for the company Fitness Friend Wellness, which is a very unique coaching business in that you can hire a personal trainer to come to your house, with equipment, and run you through your workout without ever having to step foot in a gym.

Before coaching, Nate had an impressive career in baseball, where he got to play collegiate ball at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, and then professionally in both Australia and Sweden. Because of these experiences, Nate has a very well-rounded perspective of fitness.

In this conversation we discussed the advantages of getting personal training at home, how he designs workouts differently for different clientele, how Nate balances his own fitness with such a busy schedule, and much more.

  • Ep. 5 | Being One Step Ahead w/ Justin Reynolds
    2023/03/06

The topic of this episode is supplements. But instead of just talking about the science and benefits of various supplements, I got to sit down with Justin Reynolds to learn about what goes on behind the scenes in a supplement company.

Justin is currently finishing his degree at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, but he has already built his own greens supplement and lifestyle brand called BOSAH, or Be One Step Ahead.

In this conversation we discussed Justin’s unique path into the supplement industry, how he researched and crafted the BOSAH formula, details we should all look for when considering buying a supplement, and much more.

Justin is an impressive and good-hearted person, and I really think he offers a lot of value in this quick episode. So please enjoy episode 5 of The Fitness Remodel Podcast, Being One Step Ahead, with Justin Reynolds

  • Ep. 4 | Training with the Right Intentions w/ Andrew Silver
    2023/02/27

Andrew Silver is a personal trainer who runs his own training business called STS Athletics, which operates out of the Relentless Fitness gym in St. Louis, MO. Before his coaching career, Andrew studied on the pre-physical therapy track and played collegiate football at Washington University in St. Louis. Because of his football career, Andrew knows exactly what it’s like to deal with drastic weight fluctuations and minor injuries, and he uses this experience to help his clients who struggle with similar battles.

We covered a lot of ground in this conversation, including his decision to pursue a career in personal training, his strategy for journaling, how he helps clients form a positive relationship with fitness while trying to lose weight and much more. I could talk to Andrew for hours so I’m sure we’ll do another one of these in the future. But for now, this is episode 4 of the fitness remodel podcast Training with the right intentions w/ Andrew Silver.
