This week's guest is Kendra Wilson, LCSW, certified eating disorder specialist supervisor, certified DBT counselor and certified trauma professional. Kendra shares the different types of eating disorders, behaviors to look out for if you think you or someone you know may be struggling with an eating disorder, and how to create a separation.
Kendra has been working with clients struggling with eating disorders for over 15 years and in the mental health field for over 20, at all levels of care and with all kinds of clients. She also specializes in DBT, and uses that framework to teach clients and families ways to short circuit the eating disorder and the many things driving those maladaptive coping behaviors to make their natural personalities work for them.
