What does it really take to build a yoga business when you don't want a nine to five, you live between countries, and the money doesn't always come in when you need it?

In this episode I'm talking to my sweet former student Bobbi Paidel, a yoga teacher from Canada with more than 20 years of study in yoga, meditation and non-dual philosophy, who now splits her year between Sweden and India. Bobbi shares what it has looked like behind the scenes to build a business from classes, retreats, an online membership and her podcast A Curious Yogi, and why she has learned to be okay with the slow burn while it all grows.

She's also really open about the parts that didn't go to plan, from the yoga collective in Sweden that left her hitting the wall to the moment she had only five people registered for a retreat in Norway two weeks before it started. We talk about how she went from believing yoga is for everybody to knowing exactly who she's speaking to, and what it looks like to build a life and business across three countries when there's no plan B.

If you’re trying to build an online yoga or wellness business, it can feel nearly impossible to stand out.

Because if you’re offering generic online yoga classes, you’re competing with thousands of free videos on YouTube, yoga apps, and established teachers with huge personal brands. If someone doesn’t know you yet, why would they choose you?
