  • When Harvesters Fight
    2025/08/29

In this heartfelt and sobering episode, I get into the internal battles plaguing Reformed Protestantism and the divisions that are hindering our mission to share the gospel in a world ripe for hope.

We explore why these conflicts are pushing people toward Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy, chat about the concept of the "Protestant longhouse" that’s emerged over the past 150 years, and issue an urgent call to refocus on the harvest. From addressing the attacks on bold voices like Pastor Joel Webbon to reflecting on our need for humility, focus, and action, this episode challenges us to step out of our theological echo chambers and into Christ’s mission field.

This episode is emotional, raw, and a call to unity in a fractured world. Join us as we wrestle with these tough questions and seek to recapture the heart of the Reformation.

We also take a moment to honor the recent tragedy at Annunciation Catholic Church, asking for your prayers for those affected, and for the Church to step out boldly and say, "NO MORE!"

  • Marriage and Mercy: Is a Promiscuous Past a Dealbreaker for Marriage?
    2025/08/22

In this compelling episode of the Ash Brews Podcast, we tackle a heated debate sparked by JD Hall’s bold claim that former OnlyFans models, once saved and redeemed, are fully qualified to be wives. This statement ignited a firestorm in Christian circles online, and we’re addressing it with a careful, Biblical perspective.

Join me as we explore both sides of the argument: the transformative power of the Gospel, as seen in stories like Rahab and the woman at the well, versus the practical realities of a promiscuous past in marriage. Is redemption enough, or does wisdom demand more discernment when choosing a spouse? We’ll take a peek at JD’s response to the backlash, share personal insights from my own redeemed marriage, and discuss why blanket statements can be dangerous in this nuanced conversation.

What do you think? Have you seen redemption stories in marriage that inspire or challenge these views? Drop your thoughts in the comments or join the conversation on X: Ash_Brews.

Don’t miss this episode as we balance grace, wisdom, and the call to stop click-bait Christianity from dividing the Body.

  • Churches and Cash: Missing the Mission
    2025/08/08

In today's episode, we're getting to the nitty-gritty of the controversial topic of tithing and mission trips. We explore how some churches misuse tithing funds on flashy, vacation-like “mission trips” (aka voluntourism) that prioritize traveler experiences over real impact. From a $48,000 trip to Greece for a day of paving a driveway to a $60,000 Kenyan “outreach” filled with safaris, I share real stories from friends of their church's misallocated resources that could have transformed local communities or supported sustainable global missions.

Why do churches fall into this trap? Is it about optics, emotionalism, or just poor stewardship? I'm going to challenge us to rethink what mission work means, urging churches to focus on transparency, local needs, and sustainable partnerships. Join the conversation and share your thoughts! Have you witnessed poor financial stewardship within your church?

If so, ask your church tough questions about where your tithing goes. Advocate for local impact and sustainable missions.

  • Punches From Both Sides
    2025/07/25

In today's episode, I'm navigating through the heated online debates surrounding gender roles, social media, and God’s design for men and women. Addressing common statements from both men and women with my own patriarchal mindset, I explore the biblical perspective on contentious issues like women debating men online, women being platformed, and accusations against stay-at-home moms or women engaging with patriarchal men.

From examining why men avoid debating women online to calling out the emotional accusations hurled by feminists, this episode contrasts the authoritative, truth-driven approach of men with the often emotionally charged arguments of women. Using biblical examples like Rahab, Esther, and Jael, we highlight how women can shine in their God-given roles without stepping into arenas meant for men. We also tackle misconceptions about stay-at-home moms and challenge the feminist narrative that dismisses their vital work.

Join me as I encourage God's command for order within the digital mission field, urging men to lead with conviction and women to embrace their nurturing strengths. Are you ready to align with God’s design and glorify Him in your role? Let’s spark meaningful conversations by commenting/leaving a review!

  • Honoring John MacArthur (Not in the Feminist Way)
    2025/07/18

Join me as I honor Pastor John MacArthur by sharing my own testimony of how he led my husband to Christ where I soon followed. I'll also be calling out feminists who have taken the time to dishonor John MacArthur.

I expose feminist critics who challenge MacArthur’s teachings, particularly on how these critiques often misrepresent his positions, distorting his commitment to Scripture.

    2025/07/11

In this episode, I share my journey from being a Libertarian for 10 years to embracing Christian Nationalism. Discover why I made this shift, what Christian Nationalism truly means, and how it aligns with Biblical principles.

    Key Topics:
-Defining Christian Nationalism using Stephen Wolfe’s framework
-Why Libertarianism fell short for me as a Christian
-Moral clarity, cultural unity, and faith-based communities in Christian Nationalism
    -Addressing objections, especially for Libertarians
-How faith in Christ shapes true liberty
