  • Statics Are Beating Video on Meta Right Now
    2026/09/21

For almost all of Meta's history, video was king and statics were for retargeting. Right now that's flipped.

Austin Benoit sits down with Andrew Nazarian, paid media director at Search Prestige, who runs Google and Meta ads for clients and agency partners and has more than fifteen years of Meta ads experience.

The first half is about AI in media buying, from the person on the team who uses it most. Andrew uses it to brainstorm hooks and to back-check tests for inconsistent variables. But when he let it build a campaign through Meta's own integration, it came back broken: wrong aspect ratios, copy errors, and account analysis that told him to move budget from a top of funnel campaign into a bottom of funnel one because the conversions looked cheaper.

The second half is for agency owners who rely on referrals and have never run ads for themselves, or tried and turned them off. Paid ads have been Search Prestige's top acquisition channel most months. Andrew covers how to research what's working in the Meta Ads Library, why the offer matters more than the targeting, how to read low performance versus no performance, and why statics are outperforming video since Andromeda.

    • In this episode:
    • Where AI helps in media buying and where it still breaks
    • Why AI misreads an ad account without full context
    • Using the Meta Ads Library to find offers that are working
    • Offer, hooks, and giving the algorithm enough time

  • GEO Isn't Just SEO With a New Name
    2026/09/07

GEO, AEO, AI SEO. Whatever you call it, your clients are asking about it, and most of the answers in circulation are being sold rather than tested.

Austin breaks down what carries over from SEO, what genuinely breaks, and whether the work is worth selling yet.

The foundation hasn't moved. Crawlable, indexable, technically sound. Clear entity signals. Real topical depth instead of thin coverage. Getting cited elsewhere on the open web. If a model can't retrieve you, nothing else on the list matters.

Four things do break the way you normally think about search. There's no position one to win. The unit is the claim, not the page. You compete on sources you don't own, and Reddit and Quora often outweigh your own site. Prompts aren't keywords, and no volume data sits behind them.

Also covered: where the hype is thickest, the four questions Search Prestige asks about any brand before recommending GEO work, and the honest case for starting now even though the payout lands in quarters rather than weeks.

    In this episode:
The SEO foundation that hasn't changed
Four ways GEO breaks the search model
What gets sold versus what's actually true
    Retrievable, Recognized, Referenced, Repeatable
Why AI referrals convert above their share of traffic
How to sell GEO without losing the client in ninety days
