 I love to read! My love of reading began in middle school when my English teacher read ”A Wrinkle in Time.” I was captivated by the sheer imagination that a book could bring to me as a young adult. So began my love affair with books and reading. My dream job came along when I worked at a book store. I was in heaven surrounded by the objects I loved the most, BOOKS! When my daughter was born, I would read to her when she was an infant, waking me up in the middle of the night while rocking her back to sleep. There is something to be said for reading and storytelling. Not only is literacy important, but books have the ability to cater to an individuals need for self expression. While some don’t like to read an actual book, they may enjoy listening to someone read to them. Audiobooks and Audiobook Apps on phones have become really popular. I, myself, still prefer an actual book. However, I would like to cater to those who either don’t have the time to sit down with a good book, those who enjoy listening while working/driving, etc. or those who don’t like to read at all. My channel will be devoted to a variety of books and genres. From children’s books to young adults to adult books. From genres such as fiction, mystery, fantasy, thrillers and horror. Some books will be geared towards children, while some will be geared towards adults.     With Bill away on business, Elizabeth is in charge of the household. The doll, being put away, Elizabeth goes upstairs to rest. However, after an upsetting nightmare, she realizes that not all is at it seems. She discovers that Megan now has the doll in her possession. Taking the doll, Elizabeth hides it in the library, hoping that Megan will not be tempted to retrieve it. But Elizabeth is wrong. After falling asleep again, she is awakened by a cry. Megan has found the doll, but something has gone terribly wrong. Find out what's has befallen the McGuire household in this episode of Susan's Reading Corner.

    As Bill arrives back at home, he is greeted by the live-in housekeeper, Mrs. Goodrich who informs him that he needs to talk with his wife, Elizabeth. Once upstairs, Bill, discovers that the antique doll that had arrived earlier that morning has been a bone of contention between Elizabeth and her 6-year-old daughter, Megan. After some negotiating, Bill convinces both his wife and daughter to relocate the doll to the hall closet downstairs. But his sense of uneasiness doesn't relent as he leaves for Port Arbello for the night on business. The family is still unaware of who sent the doll and why.
