  • The Unseen Connection Between Food and Emotions & the Path to Inner Freedom | Ashlyn Burnett
    2025/06/05

I’m joined today for another illuminating conversation with my friend Ashlyn Burnett. Ashlyn is a Board Certified Health Coach with a B.S. in Integrative Healthcare who helps people break free from the binge-restrict cycle and find peace with food through intuitive eating, nervous system regulation, & body-led habits.

In this deeply nourishing conversation, Ashlyn and I explore the hidden connection between emotions and food. We examine how surface-level habits and behaviors — including our food decisions — are actually driven by deeper psycho-somatic patterns, suppressed emotions, and unresolved trauma. We argue that true transformation must begin at this root-cause level and discuss the process of implementing change without force, willpower, or struggle.

We dive into Ashlyn's personal journey from struggling with health issues and disordered eating to becoming a Polyvagal-informed Coach who teaches others how to eat with trust, live without obsession, & reconnect to their innate body wisdom. Along the way, she shares practical takeaways and valuable tools for transforming pain, creating a sense of safety in the nervous system, & moving stuck energy in our bodies so we can separate thinking from feeling and begin moving beyond our outdated, limiting stories.

Finally, we consider the deeper motivations for healing, emphasizing that the true rewards are not found in the vibrant physical health we experience as a result, but in the expansiveness and inner freedom that come from reconnecting to yourself and your inherent greatness.

  • Health Freedom, Escaping the Medical Matrix, & the Hidden Dangers of Ozempic | Andrea Sapienza
    2025/05/29

In this episode, hear from someone who has experienced the ins and outs of the medical-industrial complex. Andrea Sapienza is a former healthcare professional who spent decades in ICU nursing, medical sales, and pharmaceutical development. As a health sovereignty coach, she now helps people take charge of their well-being through a holistic approach involving proper nourishment, nervous system regulation, and quantum biology.

In this conversation, we discuss the shortcomings of the standard medical model and why prescribing drugs is a band-aid approach that fails to address the root cause of disease or account for the uniqueness of each individual. We examine how our modern concept of “healthcare” continues to make us dependent on the system and deceive people into believing that their health is beyond their control.

We also investigate how our modern diet and ways of living have disconnected us from nature and how this disconnection has contributed to the ever-increasing obesity epidemic. Our discussion shifts to the true danger of so-called miracle drugs like Ozempic, not only in their potential side effects, but also in the way they perpetuate our modern culture of victimhood, codependency, and thee desire for instant gratification without true accountability. Most importantly, we explore humanity’s path back to connectedness with ourselves and with others, considering what it will take to bring about true change on a global scale and raise future generations in a spirit of health consciousness.
