  • A Woman After God's Own Heart
    2026/05/11

    PODCAST DESCRIPTION

What does it mean to be a woman after God's own heart and what does God say about who you are?

In this Mother's Day message, Pastor Cecy Biro draws from the lives of three women of the Bible, Eve, Mary, and Deborah, to remind us that God has always had a purpose, an identity, and a calling for every woman He created. And whether you're a mother or not, this message carries a word for you.

From the Garden of Eden to the battlefields of Israel, we see women who were not perfect, but who said yes to God and changed everything around them because of it.

    In this message you'll discover:

    • Why women are carriers of life and why there has always been a war against them
    • What Eve's name teaches us about the gift God placed inside every woman
    • How Mary's simple response, "I am the Lord's servant," is a prayer that can transform your life
    • What it looks like to make room for the Word of God instead of your own agenda
    • How Deborah arose as a mother in Israel and why God is calling you to arise too
    • Why sometimes you have to prophesy over yourself and sing a new song, even when you don't feel like it

You were not created to stay small, carry shame, or live under oppression. God has a purpose for you that was written before you were born and He is faithful to fulfill it.

Wake up. Arise. Sing a new song.

    Key Scripture: Psalm 138:8; Genesis 3:15; Luke 1:38; Psalm 40:8; Judges 4-5

This message was delivered by Pastor Cecy Biro on Sunday, May 11th, 2026 at Faith Alive Family Church in Saskatoon, SK.

  • Born For More
    2026/05/04

What does it mean to be born for more — and what's standing in the way of you living it?

In this message, Dr. Harrison Mungal draws from John 4 and the story of the woman at the well to challenge us with a question we rarely stop to ask ourselves: have we limited what God can do through our lives?

From growing up in poverty with no running water or electricity, to travelling to over 50 nations sharing the gospel, Dr. Mungal brings a message forged in lived faith — that God takes nobodies from nowhere places and sets them on a journey beyond anything they could think or imagine.

    This message invites us to:

    • Understand that your identity is your potential, not your history
    • Recognize that the areas we try to hide are often the very places God chooses to reveal His grace
    • Discover why "more" isn't always higher — sometimes it's deeper
    • Learn what the woman at the well teaches us about leaving behind what defines us to step into what God designed us for
    • Let go of the baggages, mindsets, and comfort zones that keep us small

Your encounter with God is meant to become someone else's invitation. You were not born to carry water jars. You were born to win a city.

    Key Scripture: John 4:1–30; 2 Corinthians 5:17

This message was delivered by Dr. Harrison Mungal on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026 at Faith Alive Family Church in Saskatoon, SK.

  • The Holy Spirit: Not Yet
    2026/04/29

What do you do when God says “not yet”?

In this message, Pastor Adam Biro continues the Holy Spirit series by teaching on one of the most challenging aspects of following God: when the Holy Spirit leads by closing doors instead of opening them.

Looking at Acts 16, we see how the Apostle Paul was forbidden by the Holy Spirit from going where he originally intended. What seemed like delay or redirection was actually God positioning him for something greater.

This message reminds us that not every closed door is a denial. Sometimes God narrows our path so He can lead us exactly where we need to go.

    This message invites us to:

    • Trust God when His timing doesn’t match our expectations
    • Recognize the difference between “no” and “not yet”
    • Stay sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit
    • Let God shape our hearts through the seasons we didn’t choose
    • Keep moving forward even when direction feels unclear

God’s delays are not His denials. What He has promised still stands, but His timing prepares us for what we are called to carry.

As we follow the Holy Spirit, we learn that being led by God is not always about speed. It is about alignment.

Key Scripture: Acts 16:6–10; Acts 18:9–10; Acts 19:10

  • For His Glory: From Valley to Resurrection
    2026/04/21

What do you do when you’re walking through a valley and God feels distant?

In this message, Rev. Mike Wilson shares a powerful and personal teaching on faith, waiting, and the glory of God revealed through our lives. From mountaintop moments to deep valleys, we are reminded that every season has purpose and that our story is ultimately for God’s glory.

Looking at the story of Lazarus in John 11, this message reveals that even when things feel delayed, buried, or beyond hope, God is still at work. What may look like the end could actually be the setup for resurrection.

Through testimony and Scripture, this message challenges us to keep believing, keep worshiping, and keep trusting God even when we don’t understand His timing.

    This message invites us to:

    • Trust God in both the mountain and the valley seasons
    • Understand that delay does not mean denial
    • Hold onto faith even when circumstances seem hopeless
    • Believe that God can resurrect what feels dead
    • Live a life that reflects the glory of God through every season

There is no situation too far gone for God. What has been buried can be brought back to life. As we trust Him, worship while we wait, and respond in faith, we will see His glory revealed.

Key Scripture: John 11:1–44; Romans 4:17–21; Hebrews 11:1

This message was delivered by Rev. Mike Wilson on April 19th, 2026 at Faith Alive Family Church in Saskatoon, SK.

  • Faith That Obtains
    2026/04/14

Why do some believers experience the promises of God while others only hope for them?

In this message, we are challenged to move beyond passive belief and step into a faith that actively receives what God has promised. The book of Hebrews calls us to imitate those who, through faith and perseverance, inherit the promises. This kind of faith is not passive. It is lived, expressed, and acted upon.

Looking through Hebrews 6, Romans 4, and the life of Abraham, this sermon teaches that the promises of God do not come automatically. They are obtained through faith, perseverance, and a willingness to act on what God has said.

    This message invites us to:

    • Understand the difference between believing and true biblical faith
    • Recognize that God’s promises are available to every believer
    • Break free from spiritual dullness and passivity
    • Learn how faith works through action and perseverance
    • Step into a lifestyle that actively receives what God has promised

Faith is not wishful thinking or future hope. Faith receives. Faith acts. Faith obtains.

As we choose to trust God fully, refuse unbelief, and act on His Word, we position ourselves to experience the fullness of what He has already promised.

Key Scripture: Hebrews 6:11–12; Romans 4:16–21; Mark 11:24; Hebrews 11:33

  • He Is Risen
    2026/04/05

What makes the resurrection of Jesus so essential to our faith?

In this Easter Sunday message, Pastor Adam Biro reminds us that the gospel is not only about the cross, but about the empty tomb. If Jesus had not risen from the dead, our faith would be empty. But because He lives, everything changes.

Walking through Romans 10 and 1 Corinthians 15, this message unpacks why the resurrection is the foundation of our salvation, our hope, and our future. The risen Christ is not just a historical figure. He is alive, reigning, and still transforming lives today.

    This message invites us to:

    • Understand why the resurrection is central to the gospel
    • Recognize that our faith stands on a living Savior
    • See how Jesus’ resurrection guarantees our own victory over sin and death
    • Anchor our lives in truth, not shifting ideas or empty philosophy
    • Live with resurrection power and eternal perspective

Because Jesus rose, our faith is not in vain. Because He lives, we are alive in Him. And because He reigns, we can walk in confidence, authority, and hope.

    Key Scripture: Romans 10:9; 1 Corinthians 15:1–8; Colossians 2:12–15; Colossians 3:1–3

  • The Holy Spirit: Pentecost Power
    2026/03/30

What changed when the Holy Spirit came, and why does it still matter today?

In this message, Pastor Adam Biro brings us into Acts chapter 2 and the moment the Church was truly birthed. What began as a small group of believers waiting in a room became a Spirit-filled movement that would impact the entire world. The difference was the power of the Holy Spirit.

This sermon reminds us that Christianity is not meant to be a passive or powerless faith. We are called to be a living, Spirit-filled people who carry the presence and power of God into the world around us.

    This message invites us to:

    • Understand what happened on the day of Pentecost
    • See how the Holy Spirit transformed ordinary believers into bold witnesses
    • Recognize that the promise of the Spirit is still for us today
    • Remove hesitation and respond in faith to receive what God is giving
    • Embrace a Spirit-filled life that brings impact, not just belief

The same Spirit that filled the early Church is available to us today. There is no expiration date on the power of God. As we seek Him, respond in faith, and make room, He fills, empowers, and sends us.

Key Scripture: Acts 2:1–4; Acts 2:37–39; Acts 8:14–17; Acts 10:44–48

  • The Holy Spirit: Make Room
    2026/03/23

    Make Room

What if the reason we are not experiencing more of God’s power is not because He is withholding it, but because we have not made room for it?

In this message, Pastor Ceci Biro continues the Holy Spirit series by teaching on the power of the Holy Spirit and the importance of creating space in our lives for God to move. Drawing from Acts 2, Ephesians 5, and Isaiah 61, we are reminded that the Holy Spirit fills those who are hungry, available, and willing to surrender.

    This message invites us to:

    • Make room in our lives for the Holy Spirit to move
    • Remove distractions that are crowding out our relationship with God
    • Stay hungry for the presence and power of God
    • Understand the purpose of the Holy Spirit’s power in our lives
    • Walk in the authority and freedom God has given us

The power of the Holy Spirit is not just something we experience in a moment. It is something we carry to bring freedom, healing, and the reality of God into the world around us.

As we make room, God fills. As we surrender, He empowers.

Key Scripture: Acts 2:1–4; Ephesians 5:18–19; Isaiah 61:1
