We make tens of thousands of decisions a day, but every now and then one comes along that changes the course of everything. This week Rev. Mike Wilson opens up the story of Jacob and Esau to ask a searching question: are we living for the temporary or the eternal? Esau traded his birthright, the family blessing, the covenant promise, and even his place in the line of the Messiah, all for a single bowl of stew. Mike walks us through how that one careless choice rippled through generations, and how a root of pride and bitterness can quietly do the same in us. But there is real hope here. Unlike Esau, Jesus never traded away His inheritance. He laid down His glory willingly so that He could share it with us, and He invites us to take off the old life like a set of dirty clothes and put Him on instead.
