  • A Woman After God's Own Heart
    2026/05/11

    PODCAST DESCRIPTION

What does it mean to be a woman after God's own heart and what does God say about who you are?

In this Mother's Day message, Pastor Cecy Biro draws from the lives of three women of the Bible, Eve, Mary, and Deborah, to remind us that God has always had a purpose, an identity, and a calling for every woman He created. And whether you're a mother or not, this message carries a word for you.

From the Garden of Eden to the battlefields of Israel, we see women who were not perfect, but who said yes to God and changed everything around them because of it.

    In this message you'll discover:

    • Why women are carriers of life and why there has always been a war against them
    • What Eve's name teaches us about the gift God placed inside every woman
    • How Mary's simple response, "I am the Lord's servant," is a prayer that can transform your life
    • What it looks like to make room for the Word of God instead of your own agenda
    • How Deborah arose as a mother in Israel and why God is calling you to arise too
    • Why sometimes you have to prophesy over yourself and sing a new song, even when you don't feel like it

You were not created to stay small, carry shame, or live under oppression. God has a purpose for you that was written before you were born and He is faithful to fulfill it.

Wake up. Arise. Sing a new song.

    Key Scripture: Psalm 138:8; Genesis 3:15; Luke 1:38; Psalm 40:8; Judges 4-5

This message was delivered by Pastor Cecy Biro on Sunday, May 11th, 2026 at Faith Alive Family Church in Saskatoon, SK.

  • Born For More
    2026/05/04

What does it mean to be born for more — and what's standing in the way of you living it?

In this message, Dr. Harrison Mungal draws from John 4 and the story of the woman at the well to challenge us with a question we rarely stop to ask ourselves: have we limited what God can do through our lives?

From growing up in poverty with no running water or electricity, to travelling to over 50 nations sharing the gospel, Dr. Mungal brings a message forged in lived faith — that God takes nobodies from nowhere places and sets them on a journey beyond anything they could think or imagine.

    This message invites us to:

    • Understand that your identity is your potential, not your history
    • Recognize that the areas we try to hide are often the very places God chooses to reveal His grace
    • Discover why "more" isn't always higher — sometimes it's deeper
    • Learn what the woman at the well teaches us about leaving behind what defines us to step into what God designed us for
    • Let go of the baggages, mindsets, and comfort zones that keep us small

Your encounter with God is meant to become someone else's invitation. You were not born to carry water jars. You were born to win a city.

    Key Scripture: John 4:1–30; 2 Corinthians 5:17

This message was delivered by Dr. Harrison Mungal on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026 at Faith Alive Family Church in Saskatoon, SK.

  • The Holy Spirit: Not Yet
    2026/04/29

What do you do when God says “not yet”?

In this message, Pastor Adam Biro continues the Holy Spirit series by teaching on one of the most challenging aspects of following God: when the Holy Spirit leads by closing doors instead of opening them.

Looking at Acts 16, we see how the Apostle Paul was forbidden by the Holy Spirit from going where he originally intended. What seemed like delay or redirection was actually God positioning him for something greater.

This message reminds us that not every closed door is a denial. Sometimes God narrows our path so He can lead us exactly where we need to go.

    This message invites us to:

    • Trust God when His timing doesn’t match our expectations
    • Recognize the difference between “no” and “not yet”
    • Stay sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit
    • Let God shape our hearts through the seasons we didn’t choose
    • Keep moving forward even when direction feels unclear

God’s delays are not His denials. What He has promised still stands, but His timing prepares us for what we are called to carry.

As we follow the Holy Spirit, we learn that being led by God is not always about speed. It is about alignment.

Key Scripture: Acts 16:6–10; Acts 18:9–10; Acts 19:10

This message was delivered by Pastor Adam Biro on April 26th, 2026 at Faith Alive Family Church in Saskatoon, SK.
