What do we do with our scars, the ones on our bodies and the ones on our hearts? This week Dane Van Der Haar opens up the story of Israel crossing the Jordan in Joshua 3 and 4, and the twelve memorial stones God told them to gather on the other side. Those stones had a purpose. When the children of the next generation asked, "What do these stones mean?", the people would remember how God carried them across a flooded river on dry ground. Sharing openly from his own season of deep loss and long waiting, Dane reminds us how quickly we forget the goodness of God, especially in the hard seasons, and how much He longs for us to keep His works alive in our memory. It is an honest and hope-filled message about choosing praise in our pain and passing our testimonies on to those who come after us. Come and be encouraged with us.
