  • New Year’s Eve Yoga & Journaling to Reflect, Release & Realign
    2026/01/01

    Welcome to the Spiritually Fit Yoga podcast with Amelia Andaleon! It’s the last day of the year! December 31, 2025…whew, we made it! It’s felt like a long one! Today’s episode is a recording of a class I taught this morning. You’ll be invited to meditate, move through an all-levels slow flow class, then either journal or meditate and reflect on a few journal prompts.


    As with any physical practice, please be mindful of your physical sensations. If you have any concerns about moving body, please mindfully stop and consult with your doctor.

In Day 27 of our 30-day Mini-Meditation series, we explore aparigraha, the yogic practice of non-grasping, through the lens of releasing anger and resentment. In this short meditation, you’re invited to notice where holding on—to past hurts, unspoken grievances, or lingering stories—may be creating unnecessary pain, often directed inward.

Today we’re exploring svadhyaya — self-study — one of the most beautiful and compassionate yogic practices. And it’s perfect for this time of year. Svadhyaya includes the study of spiritual texts. In this episode we will focus on the self-inquiry aspect of svadhyaya, to listen to your inner wisdom.


    Consider grabbing your journal to write down these self-inquiry questions or listen and reflect in meditation.


    Ask yourself:

    1. What did I learn about myself this year?
    2. What am I ready to release from this year?
    3. What am I carrying forward with intention?
