    2021/07/16

In this episode, I chat with @lizzycfitness, founder of @mypathletes and co-founder of @casavinayasa_miami. Casa Vinyasa is in the heart of South Miami. I love this studio because of the fabulous instructors, simplicity, depth, and of course Lizzy's amazing hugs! The infrared heat has just the right touch to wipe away a week of stress and rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul.  Lizzy has been an inspiration to myself and so many others through her presence, dedication to the Casa Vinyasa community, and popular yoga teacher trainings.  She embodies a grounded strength and resilient spirit. She's also great at keeping it real and openly shares about crafting a balanced life and her spiritual journey as being a daily practice.

    Some highlights from our talk:
The yoga mat as a mirror to one's life
How Casa Vinyasa Miami came to be
    Lizzy's love life!
How the practice of yoga can support one in finding balance
Yoga and it's healing effect on trauma such as anxiety, depression,  and PTSD
How Lizzy finds balance with work and play!

  • Nikki Sapp Spoelstra on Vulnerability, Inspiring Women, and Finding Your Golden Spot
    2021/03/19

#12 Happy first day of spring! Delighted to publish this episode on my birthday! In this chat, I dive deep with Nikki Spoelstra on topics that are most near and dear to my heart. Nikki is a well-known Miami local. Go Heat! She's a truth seeker, married to Eric Spoelstra (Coach of the Miami Heat), mother of two, and happens to be incredibly passionate about self-care and emotional well-being. Nikki shares intimately about her journey in healing trauma, embracing sobriety, and doing the inner work to evolve. This episode is ideal for those curious about meditation, gratitude, therapy, and stepping into one's truth. I feel incredibly grateful to Nikki for being vulnerable about the good, bad, and challenging backstory of her life because she serves as an inspiration  for others to look within and find the courage to "actively" co-create the life of their dreams too. She is honest and mindful about how hard it is to face one's past and inner shadows while also offering a beautiful example of the fruits born from soul work. Nikki is using her story to inspire and uplift other women. She believes in the power of community and vulnerability. This episode gives you all the feels and creativity for turning past pain into a golden spot that ultimately serves others. Happy soon to be birthday Nikki! #ariesfire
