"So, yes, Karna too is one way for us to appreciate him in the best way possible because he's not just a character from the Mahabharata. I would say he stands as a testament to everything that happened in the story. So he gives us the most important lens to view the story through."

"So I'll try my best not to relate it to Mahabharata. Now, starting with the writing style. Writing style of Kevin sir is actually very unique. It gives you a written Netflix series kind of feel. The way it's divided into chapters that are perfectly set up like episodes holds the reader very, very well. The way that each episode starts and ends, you actually adapt to it. Your mind becomes ready for the thrill at the correct moment."

"But I would just like to appreciate the writing of the author, the way he has written everything, the way he has created an imagery around all the scenarios, all the situations he has mentioned in the book, like, for example, even if it is a war scene. So he has described it so well that you'll just feel you are into the book, you are into the field, seeing everything happening in front of your eyes. It is just so good."

"Books have an extraordinary way of transporting us to different worlds, immersing us in stories that leave an indelible impact on our hearts and minds. Kevin Misal's Karna, the Son of Surya is one such masterpiece that encapsulates every element of an enthralling narrative, from compelling character arcs to incorrect storytelling, making it truly unforgettable. Traitor from the very first page, the writing style stands out. Mistle's prose is both captivating and immersive, drawing the reader into an ancient world of Mahabharata."

"It made me cry, made me reflect, and most importantly, it made me feel. And as a regular reader, I pick up novels hoping to lose myself in another world. Well, with this book, I didn't just lose myself. I found parts of myself I hadn't known existed. You know? Well, to anyone who hasn't read it, let me say this. You don't just read Kanna's story. You live it. You weep for him, cheer for him."

"Like these are the few relations shown in the book and they are Just like can't put into the words the book isn't just a retelling of Karna's life it is an exploration of universal themes that are relevant even today like identity, Karna's struggle for acceptance as Kshatriya despite his skills they are deeply resonated with me. Honour and loyalty was one more like his unwavering loyalty to Duryodhan."
