The term Fearless Forecasters is common now, but as of the program's launch in 1969 there was only a Fearless Forecaster Newspaper Columnist in North Carolina that predates that term (by just one year, 1968!) in the world of college sports! Originally broadcast on KTTN-AM, it now airs on Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. on KTTN-FM 92.3 during the football season. Our panel including several forecasters from different eras of the show and it's longtime moderator, John Anthony. Hear Dr. John Holcomb, Allan Quilty, Chad Boyd and Mark Ferguson talk about college football & give some history of the panelists which originally included legendary local football and basketball coaches such as C.F. Russell and Bill Ausmus. A highlight of the show occurs midway when we unveil the first public airing of the infamous and legendary underground prank episode starring former bank sponsor Jim Cox...you will laugh out loud and remind yourself how much fun college football can be when you listen to the Fearless Forecasters!
