Coaches teach and mentor players and often share great stories and accomplishments. Sometimes those players take what they've learned and become coaches in their own right. This leads us to today's episode with Coach Wes Croy of Maysville, Missouri and Coach Scott Stevens of Trenton, MIssouri whose teams will meet this week on the gridiron. Coach Croy is the 2nd winningest coach in Trenton Bulldog Football history and coached Scott Stevens when he ran for 2004 career yards and helped lead their 2007 team to an 11-1 season and a state quarterfinal appearance. They talk about great times together, the path they have each taken in their coaching careers and their upcoming matchup. Along the way our crew taste tests Fried Pies from Jamesport and talks great fictionalized coaches speeches in sports movies! Step inside the locker room and let's talk football!

Show-Me Sports Legacies takes a story approach to learning about high school, junior college, D2 & D1 college sports and our beloved professional franchises in Kansas City and St. Louis. We talk to people who have made their mark as coaches, players, scouts and business people after coming from small towns or little known communities or neighborhoods. We talk to people who are seeking to establish their reputation and break into sports career success. With a fan's perspective we look at how to encourage and support people who have that sporting dream.
