    - The automatic EPIRB activated at 4:22 AM on August 4, 2019, transmitting a latched GPS fix about thirty miles east-northeast of Diamond Shoals.
    - The Aldine Cross sank in approximately sixty feet of water with the boom still cocked across the cockpit.
    - Marilyn made the final waterproof logbook entry at 7:09 AM on August 4, 2019: "Noah up. Deploying raft."

    - The Avery Cross (registration NC-7741) departed Winslow Harbor at 07:30 on July 6 in twelve-knot southeast winds with a two-foot swell.
    - At approximately 14:20 on July 6, the Avery Cross was forty-one nautical miles southeast of Crane Cove when the emergency occurred.
    - By 14:30 sustained winds had reached 52 knots and seas built to eighteen feet in the shallows.
    - Dean Donnelly activated the EPIRB at approximately 14:20; the beacon transmitted to the COSPAS-SARSAT network as designed.
    - The EPIRB was still registered to the previous owner, Frank Deluca, and the Leeward Run (registration NC-4408), causing a thirty-four minute misdirection of rescue resources.
