  • What 115km on the Camino Taught Me About Life & Letting Go
    2026/09/15

I just returned from walking 115km on the Camino de Santiago, and what I witnessed at the very end completely changed my life. From walking under the stars to honor a dear friend, to seeing the true beauty of humanity in action, this is what the Camino is really about.

Welcome to Soul Talk! I’m Sunny Dawn Johnston, and in this episode, I'm taking you behind the scenes of my 6-day journey walking the French Way from Sarria to Santiago.

I’m sharing the raw moments, the 94-degree heat, the blisters, the laughter, and an incredibly emotional story about a group of pilgrims with ALS that left me in tears.

Whether you are planning your own pilgrimage or just need a reminder that life is about the journey, not the destination, this episode is for you.

  • Intuition or Fear? Why It Doesn't Always Feel Good
    2026/08/25

Intuition doesn't always feel peaceful. Sometimes it asks you to do the thing you really don't want to do. Sunny opens with a story from almost thirty years ago.

A friend called and asked her to meet at Sam's Club. She said no. Twice. Then something told her to call back and go anyway, and what happened when she got there changed how she understood her own guidance for the next three decades.

The second story is the opposite. A trip to Hawaii she nearly cancelled, where what felt like a warning turned out to be something else entirely.

From there, a real conversation about how to tell the two apart. Why intuition gives you information and fear builds a story around it. Why the first feeling is usually the true one and the forty-fifth one isn't. And why intuition doesn't always feel good, which is the part most people get wrong.

Plus the Heart to Heart segment, with questions from the community.

    In this episode:
    00:00 Welcome and today's question
01:05 The phone call I didn't want to take
05:05 Is there a doctor in the building?
    06:30 Holding his hand
    12:23 The football jersey funeral
13:25 The trip I almost cancelled
16:37 Intuition or fear, the real difference
17:51 What intuition actually feels like
    19:55 What fear feels like
23:56 Intuition is the signal, not the story
25:15 Why intuition doesn't always feel good
27:53 Four questions to ask yourself
33:03 Why you only ever get the next step
36:35 Psychic Investigation class, September 15
39:28 When you're too attached to the answer
43:27 The wooden hearts at Marshalls
50:06 You're going to get it wrong sometimes
51:35 Heart to Heart with Sunny
52:28 Should I ask other people first?
    53:53 What if I'm not a fear-based person?
54:35 Your opinion of me is none of my business
56:11 Anxiety and excitement feel identical

  • What the Dead Taught Me About Living
    2026/08/18

What if you knew exactly what mattered most at the end of your life? After more than 40 years of communicating with the Spirit World, I can tell you one thing for sure: the things we worry about every single day -our weight, what people think of us, waiting for the "perfect time, "are not what truly matters.

Welcome to another episode of SolTalk, where spirit meets real life! Today, we are diving deep into the profound lessons I’ve learned from those who have transitioned. Death is the ultimate equalizer, but instead of being a source of fear, it can actually be your greatest motivator to start truly living.

If you've been stuck in a cycle of "someday," holding onto resentment, or waiting for the right moment to chase your dreams, this episode is your loving wake-up call. We are talking about how to release the heavy energy of regret, why forgiveness is actually about reclaiming your own life force, and how you can honor your loved ones in spirit by living your life full-out right now.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • The 250-Year Shift: A powerful perspective exercise to help you stop procrastinating on your happiness.
    • What Actually Matters: Why those on the Other Side only care about love, energy, and shared experiences.
    • The Cost of Resentment: How holding onto anger drains your precious life force energy, and how to set boundaries with love.
    • Living for Them: How to honor those you have lost by actively participating in your own life today.

Upcoming Free Webinar: Join me tomorrow, Wednesday, August 19th at 10:00 AM Pacific for a completely free live webinar: When Love Doesn't End: The Sacred Work of Grief. We will reframe how we look at grief, discuss how our loved ones continue to show us signs, and explore how to find our way back to the energy of love.

  • Can You Be Heartbroken and Happy at the Same Time?
    2026/08/12

Can you be heartbroken and happy at the same time? Can you experience grief, sadness, or loss and still allow yourself to laugh, feel joy, and keep living?

In this episode of SolTalk with Sunny Dawn Johnston, Sunny explores the complicated relationship between grief, happiness, healing, and choosing joy when life hurts.

After recently celebrating the life of her dear friend Robin, Sunny shares what she is discovering firsthand about grief. The pain does not simply disappear, but neither does your ability to experience happiness.

In fact, one of the most important messages in this conversation is that grief and joy do not have to be opposites.

You can miss someone deeply and still laugh.

You can hurt and still experience a beautiful moment.

You can grieve and still choose to live.

As Sunny explains, laughter and happiness after loss do not erase your love or mean that you've “moved on.” We are capable of holding grief and happiness at the same time.

Sunny also shares a hilarious real-life story about attending an outdoor concert that turned into an unforgettable Arizona storm filled with wind, rain, hail, mud and chaos. While some people became angry and frustrated, Sunny found herself laughing and even dancing in the rain.

    It became a powerful reminder:

We cannot always choose what happens in life, but we can choose how we participate in it.

    In this episode, you'll discover:

    • How grief and happiness can coexist
    • Why feeling joy does not dishonor someone you've lost
    • How to find happiness even when circumstances are difficult
    • Why waiting for everything to be “okay” can keep us from living
    • How changing your perspective can change your experience
    • Where happiness may already be available in your life today
    • How our loved ones in spirit can remain connected with us

Sunny encourages us to stop waiting for the perfect circumstances before allowing ourselves to feel good and instead begin noticing the small places where happiness is already available.

  • Signs From Loved Ones After Death | She Sent Me Signs
    2026/08/05

Six days after Sunny Dawn Johnston’s dear friend and longtime team member Robin transitioned, the signs began arriving.

Robin passed at 2:22, a number associated with trust, faith, and divine timing. In the days that followed, Sunny experienced songs, dreams, angel numbers, memories, and unmistakable moments of connection that reminded her of one truth: love does not end when the body does.

In this deeply personal episode of SOLTalk, Sunny honors more than 20 years of friendship with Robin while exploring how loved ones may continue to communicate after death. She shares what spiritual signs can look like, why grief sometimes makes them difficult to recognize, and how staying present can help us become more aware of the connection that remains.

You will also learn simple ways to invite signs, including grounding, noticing repeated patterns, asking for a recognizable message, journaling, and opening yourself to dreams.

Have you received a meaningful sign from someone you love? Listen with an open heart and consider what may have already been trying to reach you.

  • The One Thing Nobody Tells You About Grief
    2026/07/14

Are you tired of being told you should be "over it" by now?

In this powerful episode of Soltalk, Sunny Dawn Johnston challenges the traditional "Five Stages of Grief" script we've all been handed. Drawing from her 30+ years of experience as a hospice volunteer, medium, and spiritual teacher, Sunny shares why there is no "right" timeline for grieving, and why the goal isn't to find closure, but to build a new relationship with your loved one in spirit.

Because the truth is: Love does not end when the physical body dies; it simply changes form.

Watch to discover how to process the energy of grief, recognize visitations versus normal dreams, and call upon Archangel Azrael for comfort during your darkest moments.
