🎙️ FAN FAVORITE | The Episode That Changed Everything

As I prepare to celebrate my mom's life on what would have been her 83rd birthday, August 12, I'm bringing back one of the most meaningful episodes I've ever recorded.

I had no idea when I hit "publish" that this conversation would become a fan favorite... or that it would be noticed by people like Mel Robbins and Elizabeth Gilbert, opening doors and connections I never could have imagined.

But that's what happens when we have the courage to tell the truth.

Just weeks after losing my beautiful mom, Mary Ann Mizerski, I sat down behind the microphone with a broken heart and shared a story I almost didn't tell.

This episode isn't simply about grief.

It's about legacy.

It's about motherhood.

It's about forgiveness.

It's about seeing the women who raised us as whole human beings—not just for the hardest chapters of their lives, but for the courage, sacrifice, dreams, and love that shaped us.

My mom endured more than most people will ever know. She lost her husband, raised six children as a single mother, faced incredible hardships, and through it all continued to seek Jesus, love her family, and keep moving forward. She wasn't perfect. None of us are. But she lived a life worth remembering.

This conversation also became another reminder of something I believe with all my heart:

Our stories are never just about us.

When we have the courage to share them, they become hope, healing, and permission for someone else.
