  • Forgivness: "Choosing Peace When the World Chooses Hate" Inspired by Charlie Kirk
    2025/09/15

When the world shakes and evil feels louder than love, it’s easy to let anger harden our hearts. After Charlie Kirk’s assassination, so many of us have felt grief, rage, confusion—and maybe even the urge to fight hate with more hate.

In this powerful episode, I share how God softened my own heart through forgiveness… even toward the people who betrayed me most.

They don’t know they’ve been forgiven—because forgiveness isn’t for them. It’s for me. And it’s for you too.

This isn’t about politics. This is about peace. About faith. About the kind of love that frees us from the pain that was never meant to be ours to carry.

If your heart is heavy today, I pray this episode reminds you:
    - Forgiveness isn’t weakness. It’s freedom.
    - You don’t have to carry what God is ready to take from you.
    - Your peace is worth more than your pain.

    Scripture shared in this episode:
    Luke 23:34, Ephesians 4:31–32, Matthew 5:44, Colossians 3:13

  • National Recovery Month – What My Kid Brother’s Recovery Taught Me
    2025/09/08

Addiction doesn’t just affect the person using—it ripples out, leaving deep wounds in the lives of the people who love them.

In this emotional episode, I share my personal story of being raised by addicted parents, losing them too soon, and walking alongside my little brother as he fought his own battle with addiction. His journey to recovery not only gave me my brother back, but it also gave me something I never expected: forgiveness, compassion, and healing for myself.

September is National Recovery Month, and this conversation is for anyone who has loved an addict, felt the ripple effect of addiction, or is still carrying the pain of neglect, rejection, or broken trust.

Through my story, I hope you find courage, hope, and a reminder that recovery is possible—not just for the addict, but for the family and loved ones, too.

What You’ll Learn in This Episode:

    • The ripple effect of addiction on families and children
    • Why recovery can’t be forced, and why tough love is sometimes the most loving choice
    • How my brother’s journey through recovery taught me about faith, compassion, and forgiveness
    • The lessons addiction survivors and families can carry forward into their own healing
    • Why recovery is also for the ones left behind
