  • Wp. 18: Why Women Overthink Money with Lupita Lechuga
    2026/08/28

For our FIRST guest episode, we're talking about something most of us deal with—but don't always want to talk about:

    MONEY. 💸

Why do women overthink it so much?

This week, Melissa and Kami are joined by Lupita Lechuga, RICP®, Director of Financial Planning, for a very real conversation about our relationship with money and why so much of it has absolutely nothing to do with the numbers.

We talk about the money messages we picked up as kids, why women tend to second-guess financial decisions, the pressure to have it all figured out, spending guilt, debt, FOMO, impulse purchases, credit cards, saving, and what happens when life is simply life-ing and dealing with your finances keeps getting pushed further down the list.

Lupita also shares some practical ways to make money feel less overwhelming - including getting organized, understanding where your money is actually going, identifying what you genuinely value, sleeping on purchases before hitting "buy," and choosing one financial priority when everything feels like too much.

And yes... we also somehow get into Starbucks, Amazon carts, Kohl's Cash, trinkets, taking your bra off at the end of the day, and why your shoes probably don't need a payment plan. 😂

This isn't about being perfect with money.

It's about getting more comfortable talking about it, understanding the habits and beliefs influencing our decisions, and building the confidence to make the next right move for your life.

Because maybe we don't need to have money completely figured out.

Maybe we just need to stop being so afraid to talk about it.

  • Ep. 17: Vision Boards, Woo-Woo & Doing the Real Work
    2026/08/21

Personal growth gets uncomfortable when you start becoming the person your next chapter requires.

In this episode, we’re talking about personal growth - the uncomfortable, exciting, sometimes totally woo-woo version of it.

We get into what happens when the old version of you doesn’t quite fit anymore, but you’re still figuring out who you’re becoming. From self-validation and trusting your own decisions to vision boards, manifestation, affirmations, spirituality, intuition, and even the idea that your future self might be leaving you a few breadcrumbs along the way.

We also talk about something we both believe: you can’t just put what you want on a vision board and wait for it to happen. You have to grow into it.

Sometimes that means reading the book. Taking the chance. Trying something new. Going inward. Getting uncomfortable. Or simply trusting that you don’t have to know exactly how everything is going to unfold yet.

We definitely get a little weird in this one and we’re completely okay with that. 😂

Because there’s no one right way to grow. Stay curious, experience your life, trust yourself, and keep doing the real work.

    Things We Mentioned + Recommend

📚 The Power of Now — Eckhart Tolle
Melissa’s book recommendation and one she says changed her life.

📚 The Success Principles — Jack Canfield
One of Kami’s recommendations for personal growth, possibility, and learning from the breadcrumbs other people leave behind.

📚 The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership — John C. Maxwell
A book Kami credits with helping her recognize the gap between where she was and the person and leader she wanted to become.

    🎬 The Secret
Kami shares how The Secret first introduced her to manifestation, affirmations, and intentionally thinking about what she wanted to create.

    🧘 Insight Timer
One of Kami’s favorite tools for meditation, clearing her mind, breathing, and coming back to herself.

🎧 Healing Frequencies / Frequency Sounds
Melissa likes listening to frequency sounds while sleeping as another way to slow down, reset, and go inward.

    Vision Boards
Something we both use — in VERY different ways — to explore what we want, play with possibility, and create a vision for what might come next.

  • Ep. 9: Is Authenticity Becoming Performative? The Truth About Social Media, Vulnerability & Going Viral
    2026/05/22

Is authenticity online actually authentic anymore?

In this episode of Probably Most Definitely Overthinking This, Kami and Melissa unpack the blurry line between being genuinely yourself and performing authenticity for an audience.

From crying videos and curated vulnerability to viral content, personal branding, and the pressure to always be “real,” this conversation gets honest about what authenticity actually looks like in today’s social media world.

We explore the difference between connection and validation, why not everything needs an audience to be meaningful, the truth about chasing viral content, and what authentic marketing really means when you’re building a business or personal brand.

We also dive into processing life publicly vs. privately, emotional boundaries online, and why sustainable connection will always outperform performative attention.

If you’ve ever questioned what’s real online or caught yourself overthinking how you show up... this episode is for you.
