Thanks to a pair of excellent starting performances from Carlos Rodon and Cam Schlittler, which offset a brutal outing by Gerrit Cole, the Yankees won the Subway Series over the weekend against the Mets.

However, since the Rays refuse to lose, the Yankees lost another game in the standings and now trail by four games as the days keep slipping away. Sal Maiorana and Mike Lindsley review the Mets series and look ahead to a big road trip that starts Monday in Minnesota.
