“How Long, O Lord?” | Revelation 6:9–17 (ESV)

Series: Thy Will Be Done: Final Parables of the Kingdom - Revelation

    Pastor: Pastor Patrick Dailey

    Sunday Morning

    Date: 19th April 2026

    Passage: Revelation 6:9-17

    -------------------

Welcome to Ontario Community Church’s Sermon Podcast.

Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches “How Long, O Lord?” from Revelation 6:9–17. Week 14 of Thy Will Be Done, our 42-week series through Revelation.

The Lamb opens the fifth seal, revealing the souls of the martyrs beneath the altar. They cry, “How long?” They are given white robes and told to rest until the family of faith is complete. The sixth seal shakes creation with earthquake, darkened sun, blood moon, falling stars. The kings and great ones beg the mountains to hide them from God’s face.

Key themes: no life is forgotten by God; the Persistent Widow’s cry in apocalyptic form; why the martyrs rest under the same altar where the saints’ prayers rise (Lev 4:7); the white robe as God making everything new; two kinds of hiding.

    Connected readings: Psalm 79:10–13, Joel 2:30–31, Leviticus 4:7, Isaiah 2:19, Luke 18:1–8

The Final Say | Revelation 6:1–8 (ESV)

Series: Thy Will Be Done: Final Parables of the Kingdom - Revelation

    Pastor: Pastor Patrick Dailey

    Sunday Morning

    Date: 12th April 2026

    Passage: Revelation 6:1-8

    -------------------

Welcome to Ontario Community Church’s Sermon Podcast.

Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches “The Final Say” from Revelation 6:1–8 — Week 13 of Thy Will Be Done, our 42-week series through Revelation.

The Lamb who took the scroll in chapter 5 now opens the first four seals. Each seal releases a horseman: white (conquest), red (war), black (famine), pale (death). The four living creatures who worship in chapter 4 are the same ones who summon these riders in chapter 6.

Key themes: • Worship and justice both flow from God’s throne • The prayers of the saints in golden bowls are answered through the seals • What Daniel sealed, Christ now reveals • Every rider’s authority is limited — judgment is restrained by mercy • God has the final say — not the horsemen, not the condition of the earth

“Believe” | John 20:1–29 (ESV) | Easter Sunday

    Series: Stand Alone Sermon

    Pastor: Pastor Patrick Dailey

    Sunday Morning

    Date: 5th April 2026

    Passage: John 20:1-29

    -------------------

Welcome to Ontario Community Church’s Sermon Podcast.

Happy Easter! Today on Resurrection Sunday, Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches “Believe” from John 20:1–29 at Ontario Community Church.

Three scenes of belief: • The disciples saw the empty tomb and believed; yet they did not understand • Mary recognized Jesus by voice, not by sight; from tears to testimony • Thomas went from “I will never believe” to “My Lord and my God”

Key themes: • Belief comes before understanding; you do not need all the answers • The voice of God transforms tears into testimony; Christ calls your name • Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed

“But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” — John 20:31

  • Hosanna to the King | John 12:12–19

Hosanna to the King | John 12:12–19

    Series: Stand Alone Sermon

    Pastor: Pastor Patrick Dailey

    Sunday Morning

    Date: 29th March 2026

    Passage: John 12:12-19

    -------------------

Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches “Hosanna to the King” from John 12:12–19: a standalone Palm Sunday sermon at Ontario Community Church in Ontario Oregon.

John’s Gospel gives us the one detail no other account does: Lazarus is there. The man Jesus raised from the dead is walking beside Him into Jerusalem. The crowd hears about it and floods the street with palm branches, crying Hosanna, “Save us, we pray.” On the surface they wanted the miracle-worker. But deeper, they were asking for salvation without knowing the weight of their own prayer. The Pharisees panicked, they made plans to kill Lazarus, to destroy the evidence rather than submit to the King. And the disciples? They didn’t understand any of it until after the resurrection. They needed Easter to understand Palm Sunday.

This sermon is the first of three for Holy Week: Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter.

    Sunday Morning

    Passage: Revelation 5:1-14

    -------------------

Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches “Weep No More” from Revelation 5:1–14.

This is week 12 of Thy Will Be Done, our 42-week series through Revelation.

A scroll appears in God’s right hand, sealed with seven seals. No one is worthy to open it.

John weeps loudly and his tears are not sentimental; they are theological.

A sealed scroll means history has no resolution.

Then a Lamb appears, standing as though slain, and takes it from the hand of God. This is the hinge of the entire book.

Welcome to Ontario Community Church's Sermon Podcast. Pastor Patrick Dailey preaches from Revelation 4:1–11: "HOLY, HOLY, HOLY — The Throne Room of God." from the Thy Will Be Done Revelation series.

After the seven churches, the scene shifts to something greater. A door stands open. John is called up. The throne room of God is revealed — not as a future event, but as an eternal present reality. Three OT witnesses confirm it. Three applications demand a response.

May God open your eyes to what is eternally true.
