  • Are Your Wild Mood Changes Starting In Your Gut? PMS & PMDD Explained with Roma Vishwanath-Deutsch
    2026/04/23

Do you feel like the wheels are coming off the wagon before your period… every single month?

Anxiety. Irritability. Short fuse. Emotional overwhelm. Sometimes even depression. And then we’re told to just push through it—like PMS is a throwaway term and suffering in silence (with Advil and a heating pack) is normal.

But what if PMS and PMDD, a more severe, cyclical form of premenstrual symptoms that can significantly impact daily life, relationships, and functioning—isn’t “just hormones”?

What if it’s something more complex… and something we’ve been missing?

In this episode, we sit down with Roma Vishwanath-Deutsch, founder of Pinkmatter, to unpack the real story behind cyclical mood changes—and why the gut, brain, and hormones are far more interconnected than most of us have been told.

Cat and Roma share their personal experiences with PMDD, and reflect on how storytelling can help dismantle stigma and reshape how we talk about women’s mental health.

This conversation goes beyond quick fixes. We get into the systemic roots of PMS and PMDD, the science behind the gut-brain axis, and what it actually looks like to support your body in a way that feels sustainable, personalized, and stigma-free.

If you’ve ever felt dismissed, confused, or overwhelmed by your symptoms—this one is for you!

  • We Deserve More: The Truth About Women’s Healthcare, Trust, and Taking Back Control with Nikki Vinckier
    2026/04/16

Do you trust the healthcare system?

And more importantly—do you know how to make the most of what you have access to? Let’s cut through the BS!

In this episode, we’re pulling back the curtain on women’s healthcare—where the gaps are, why they exist, and what it actually looks like to advocate for yourself in a system that wasn’t built for you.

I’m joined by Nikki Vinckier, women's health advocate, physician and author of We Deserve More, for a conversation that is honest, nuanced, and—at times—uncomfortable in the best way.

Because women don’t need more noise. We need better information, real context, and the tools to make decisions with confidence. We get into:

    • Why women’s healthcare feels broken—and how medical training and systems contribute to it

    • The reality of postpartum care in the U.S. (and why so many women feel unsupported)

    • Mental health, motherhood, and the pressure to “bounce back”

    • How to advocate for yourself in a doctor’s office (what to ask, what to push back on)

    • The difference between traditional vs. concierge care—and who actually has access

    • Social media, misinformation, and how women are being misled about birth control + wellness

    • What trauma-informed care really means—and why it matters

    • The impact of legislation, insurance, and privilege on women’s health outcomes

    • Navigating contraception, fertility concerns, and making decisions without fear

    • Where alternative + integrative medicine fits in—and how to think about it with nuance

    • Why lived experience matters—and how women can drive real systemic change

This isn’t about rejecting medicine. It’s about understanding it—so you can navigate it on your terms.

Because you deserve more than one point of view. And you deserve care that actually sees you.

  • Over-Investing in Trends, Ignoring the Basics: Rethinking Your Health and Environment with Dr. Jay Luthar & Kaylee LeCavelier of Lutanen Health
    2026/04/09

Our first-ever live episode—and one not to miss!

We are investing more than ever in their health—supplements, devices, testing—yet still missing the mark.

    So what are we missing?

In this conversation, I’m joined by Dr. Jay Luthar and Kaylee LeCavalier of Lutanen Health to break down what a healthy home baseline actually looks like—through a science-backed, no-BS lens.

We unpack where we’re over-investing in trends, and where we need to reinvest in the fundamentals: the spaces we live in, the air we breathe, and the daily inputs shaping our health.

Because you don’t need to do everything…you need to start with what actually works.

    What we get into:

    • Why your home environment is one of the most overlooked drivers of health

    • What “toxic burden” actually means—and what’s often overhyped

    • How your body actually detoxes (and why most protocols miss the point)

    • Where to stop over-investing, and where to double down: sleep, air, light, and daily habits (think specific products/types)

    Why This Episode Matters:

If you’ve been chasing trends but still don’t feel your best—this is your reset.

The basics aren’t boring. They’re foundational.

Start with what’s within reach. No fear-mongering. Just standards.

This episode is presented by Lovejoy Wharf.

If you’re in Boston, you’ve likely seen it along the water—but what stood out to me when we hosted the podcast there wasn’t just the location, it was how calm and intentional the space felt.

Because we talk a lot about environment—and how where you live shapes how you feel day to day.

Lovejoy Wharf delivers on that. A boutique waterfront residence developed by Related Beal and designed by Robert A. M. Stern, it offers refined, thoughtful living—from quiet, concrete construction and harbor views to a full-service lifestyle with concierge, valet, and private dining access.

All right in the heart of the city.

  • Doing Everything “Right” And Still Feeling Off with Jac Tracy
    2026/04/02

You can do all the “right” things—clean products, better choices, building a business—and still feel off.

    So what are we missing?

I’m joined by Jac Tracy, entrepreneur and brand builder to talk about the reality behind non-toxic living, modern motherhood, and what it actually costs women to do it all.

We start with her birth and postpartum experience—what didn’t go as planned, and why sharing these stories matters more than ever.

Then we get into the world of “clean” living:

    • what matters vs. what’s overhyped
    • greenwashing and lack of transparency
    • how to approach non-toxic choices without spiraling

And the part no one talks about: what building a business actually costs women.

The mental load, the identity shifts, and the toll on your nervous system and overall health.

    We also cover:

    • motherhood + entrepreneurship
    • delegation and invisible labor
    • endocrine disruptors (what actually matters)
    • why “doing your best” might be enough

Because this isn’t about doing everything perfectly.
It’s about knowing what actually matters—and letting go of the rest.

  • You’re Not Crazy. It’s Perimenopause with Dr. Heather Hirsch & Joy Brown Kirst
    2026/03/26

For the first time, we’re bringing you both the doctor and the patient—because women deserve more than one point of view, and a real look at what collaborative, nuanced care can actually look like.

If you’re in your 30s or 40s and have been feeling off—exhausted, anxious, not sleeping, breaking out, forgetting words mid-sentence—and wondering what is going onthis might be perimenopause.

And no, you’re not too young.

I’m joined by Dr. Heather Hirsch, menopause clinician and author of The Survival Guide to Perimenopause, and Joy Brown Kirst, founder of Modern Age Skin, for a conversation that’s fun, deeply relatable, and actually useful.

We get into why so many symptoms get dismissed as “just stress,” how hormones are impacting everything from your mood to your skin, and why perimenopause is often missed entirely.

We also unpack how skincare needs to shift during this phase—why your 10-step routine might actually be working against you, and how a less-is-more approach can better support the skin barrier as hormones change.

We break down what’s real vs. overcomplicated when it comes to HRT, why fixing one thing at a time (like sleep) can change everything, and how to find a care team that actually listens.

Because this isn’t in your head—and it’s not something you have to just push through. It’s your body asking for better information—and better care.

  • Stem Cells & Aging Powerfully with Dr. Yi Song (Part II)
    2026/03/18

Stem cells. Cord blood banking. Wellness tourism.
    What’s worth understanding—and what’s just noise?

What if preventative aging well isn’t about doing more—but doing things differently?

In Part Two of my conversation with Dr. Yi Song, we explore one of the most compelling—and still evolving—frontiers in medicine: stem cell therapy.

Dr. Yi shares how she’s using stem cells to help “jump-start” the body’s natural healing processes, with applications ranging from autoimmune conditions and chronic pain to joint health.

But this conversation goes beyond treatment. It challenges the way we think about aging—especially for women.

We talk about what it means to age powerfully, the role of prevention over intervention, and emerging approaches to skin health that move beyond Botox toward supporting the body’s own regenerative capacity.

From red light therapy and circadian rhythms to skincare rooted in traditional medicine, this episode offers a more expansive, integrated lens on longevity.

Because perhaps the future of aging isn’t about chasing youth—
but about supporting the body in doing what it was designed to do.

  • The Future of Medicine: Where East Meets West with Dr. Yi Song (Part I)
    2026/03/12

Part I: Prevention, Genetics & Regenerative Health

What if the future of medicine isn’t choosing between Eastern and Western approaches—but understanding how they work together?

In Part 1 of this two-part conversation, I sit down with Dr. Yi Song, a physician from a family deeply rooted in both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine. After studying at Brown University and conducting PhD research on aging and cancer, she shifted her focus toward the Chinese medicine philosophy of prevention and balance. In 2018, she founded the Zenerchi Retreat in Medellín, Colombia, dedicated to regenerative health and longevity.

Together, we explore how ancient medical frameworks and modern technologies—from genetics to red light therapy—can work in harmony to help the body repair, rebalance, and function optimally.

    In this episode, we discuss:

    • What regenerative health really means

    • How Chinese and Western medicine complement each other

    • The science behind red light therapy

    • How genetics and personalized medicine are shaping the future of care

    • Why prevention is foundational to long-term health

In Part 2, we go deeper into one of the most fascinating (and controversial) frontiers in regenerative medicine: stem cells.
