Well, we got what the fans wanted this year. Many fans were pissy about the Dodgers run thru the playoffs, and being eliminated by the Brewers sure made a lot of people happy. I’m sure MLB and the networks are not thrilled with the end result. But no one is mentioning the FACT that small market TampaBay and Milwaukee are producing some damn good ratings in watching the World Series. You gotta love the fact that MLB is saying we need a salary cap for the small market teams to compete….and low and behold they are eating their words with the Rays and Brewers , traditionally in the bottom of team payroll, but here in the World Series. Game 1: Averaged 12.2 million viewers, which is a pretty damn good figure for a World Series matchup.

The Milwaukee market, despite being the smallest in MLB, showed rating of 33.9 and a 70 share, indicating that it wasn’t that boring of a matchup after all. Also contributing to high TV ratings for the 2026 MLB World Series was the fact that the Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays, were both seeking their first title ever. Hey, 2016 was like that too with the Cubs vs the Indians. How could you not want both teams to win, right. I think THIS fact really draws in the average viewer to see if one of these teams can FINALLY get a championship.

Can you believe it is Friday October 16th already… OK, there is A LOT in the news about the fallout from the ALDS. Yep, I’m talking YANKEES. I think it is time to have a REAL discussion about the status of the Yankees. You may have heard many comments about things, but don’t forget what the advantage of our little podcast is…No one gives a shit about us, so I don’t give a shit about protecting a relationship with someone who needs bashing. I’m not Joel Sherman, afraid to say the word…The guy needs to be FIRED. So, get comfy and lets talk Yankees…

We will try to keep the mundane news to a minimum! But first…let us officially acknowledge the DEATH… of yet another Yankees postseason, once again.

The Death

2018… That was the first year Aaron Boone became manager of the New York Yankees. He has produced seasons of….LOSING.

Season 3 - Episode 20 - The Playoffs! - How can we not start with them. Wow! Are you surprised already? Happy? Sad? With the outcomes? We are in production of our Podcast BEFORE the Braves vs Phillies series has been decided. Amazingly, all the other series are over! Yes, short and sweet!

Yankees 2 Games to 0 over the Red Sox

This one was brutal if you are a Red Sox fan and what you didn’t expect if you are a Yankee fan. You gotta admit…this series the Yankees looked good. The Red Sox, obviously playing .500 since their May-June streak had shot their load. They just didn’t hit, pitch or play worth a shit. That’s the Playoffs…they were COLD entering the playoffs and it was their death. The Yankees riding Cam Schlittler and Max Fried, PLUS scoring 18 runs to the Red Sox 2, made this a quick killing. Now…can the Yanks compete with the Rays?

White Sox 2 Games to 0 over Astros

Another nice easy series win for the surprising White Sox. Shit, the friggin’ Astros did not even deserve home field advantage in my book. The AL West winner was the sacrificial lamb who was rightly executed…Next….The Guardians…ohhhh boy.
