概要

Mindfully Disruptive — not through force or rebellion, but through listening, honesty, and embodied truth.Welcome to Mindfully Disruptive — a podcast for women leaders who are ready to stop performing and start listening. Hosted by Patricia Rundblade, this show explores what it means to reclaim life force, speak truth without urgency, and lead from the body rather than depletion. These conversations are rooted in embodied awareness, nervous-system wisdom, and radical self-leadership — not hustle, not fixing, and not surface-level empowerment. Through solo reflections, intimate conversations, and The Mani-Pause — a collaboration series centering women navigating menopause — we explore what happens when exhaustion is treated not as a failure, but as a signal that something essential is asking to change. This is not a podcast about doing more or becoming better. It’s about restoring what’s been spent, releasing performance-based leadership, and returning to a way of living and leading that actually sustains you. If you’re a visionary, creative, executive, or woman in midlife who knows the old rules no longer work, you’re welcome here. Your body holds wisdom. Your voice carries truth. This is a space to listen, remember, and lead from the inside out.@2023 The Soulful Lion LLC 個人的成功 社会科学 自己啓発

  • S5:Episode 64 - The Ten Year Old CFO
    2026/03/09

What if your money problem has nothing to do with money?

What if it started in a room you haven't gone back to yet — at an age you were never supposed to be carrying what you were carrying — with a voice that told you something about your worth that was never, ever true?

In this episode of Mindfully Disruptive, Patricia gets into the money wound that lives below every budget, every abundance affirmation, every financial strategy that works for a while and then somehow doesn't.

This is the episode for the woman who works hard, does everything right, and still cannot figure out why the money never quite lands and stays.

What You'll Hear in This Episode:

Patricia opens with a confession that reframes everything: she became the CFO of her family household at ten years old. Not metaphorically. She was writing checks and balancing the family bank account because her father needed her to hold it.

She traces how that one moment compounded across a lifetime and shows how each experience layered onto the original wound, confirming the same belief in new rooms with new people.

Patricia then draws the distinction that changes everything for women who are stuck in money cycles despite their intelligence, their work ethic, and their desire to break free.

You cannot discipline your way out of a somatic imprint.

The pattern is not in the spreadsheet. It is in the body.

She explains the protective logic underneath the pattern was never self-destruction. It was a ten year old's brilliant, loving attempt to keep you safe from something that felt absolutely catastrophic.

And she shares what she has learned about what it actually takes to change it. Not strategy. Not discipline. Not another framework.

Retrieval. The body. Creativity. Coming home.

    Who This Episode Is For:

This episode is for the woman who grew up holding everything together — who became responsible before she was ready, who learned that her needs required justification, who built competence into an art form because competence felt safer than vulnerability.

It is for the woman who has tried every money strategy and still finds herself in the same cycle wondering what is wrong with her.

    Nothing is wrong with her.

She has a ten year old running her finances. And that ten year old is doing exactly what she learned to do to keep them both safe.

It is also for the woman who recognizes herself in the room — whatever age it was, whatever room it happened in — and is finally ready to go back and get her.

Ready to Go Back and Get Her?

Your inner child that has been the CFO of your finances for long enough.

The Untangling is a focused three session experience designed to go underneath the strategy and find the knot. The room. The age. The nervous system story that has been quietly making decisions on your behalf for longer than you know.

Not therapy. Not a twelve week program. Three sessions to find it, name it, and begin to hand her back her childhood while you take back your financial life.

Because you have been paying interest on someone else's debt for long enough.

  • S5: Episode 63 - The Wart on my Nose
    2026/03/09

What does a 4am dream have to do with a 17-year-old pattern you never knew you were carrying?

    Everything. As it turns out.

In this episode of Mindfully Disruptive, Patricia shares one of the most unexpectedly honest conversations she has ever had — with herself, on a morning walk, after a dream cracked open something she had been carrying since long before she had words for it.

This is not a tidy episode about healing. It is a real-time excavation of a pattern that was hiding in plain sight. On her nose. Like a wart she somehow never noticed.

If you have ever done significant personal work and still felt like something was running quietly underneath all of it — this episode is for you.

What You'll Hear in This Episode:

Patricia walks through a vivid early morning dream — the kind that comes during deep REM sleep between 3 and 5am when the unconscious is doing its heaviest processing. Expanding circles of blue and green. A mall. Her oldest son watching his father from a distance. And then — her ex-boyfriend, the one who broke her heart deeply, showing up to offer comfort while she stood with a completely puzzled expression on her face.

She breaks down what each dream image was doing.

Patricia traces the thread and names the pattern underneath all of it for the first time out loud.

She explores how this belief quietly shaped her relationships, her nervous system, and the way she received — or didn't receive — comfort, love, and support across decades of her life.

    Who This Episode Is For:

This episode is for the woman who has done the work. Who has been to therapy, read the books, done the journaling — and still feels something running quietly underneath that she cannot quite name.

It is for the woman who grew up holding everything together and learned somewhere along the way that love comes with an expiration date she cannot predict.

It is for the woman who is standing at a threshold in her own life — career, relationships, identity, midlife — and feels something old trying to surface that is ready, finally, to be seen.

Ready to Find Your Own Wart?

Most of us are not confused about our lives in general. We are carrying one or two very old, very tangled stories that are quietly running the show.

The Untangling is a focused three session experience designed to help you find the knot — the one thing underneath the thing — and begin to loosen it.

Not therapy. Not a twelve week program. Three sessions. We find it. We name it. We start to set it down.

Because the comfort and the wound arrived together. You don't have to keep carrying them that way.

  • S5:Episode 62 -Inherited Exhaustion: When Tired Is in Your DNA
    2026/03/09

What if your exhaustion isn't about your schedule?

What if it's older than you?

In this episode of Mindfully Disruptive, Patricia gets into something most wellness conversations completely miss — the exhaustion that lives in the body not because of what you did last week, but because of what your lineage survived for generations.

This isn't burnout from overcommitment. This is something deeper. Something inherited.

    What We Cover:

The historical roots of women's exhaustion — how centuries of layered oppression, forced labor, displacement, and domestic servitude didn't just shape culture. They shaped nervous systems. And those nervous systems shaped ours.

For women of color, Indigenous women, immigrant women, and women from minority communities, this inheritance is not metaphorical. It is encoded. Survival adaptations like hyper-responsibility, overworking, not complaining, and enduring without asking — these were not character flaws. They were life-saving strategies. And they got passed down.

Patricia traces how these adaptations show up in the body today — chronic alertness that rest doesn't resolve, pelvic and diaphragm tension, anxiety, autoimmune disruption, hormonal imbalance, and a particular brand of fatigue that eight hours of sleep cannot touch.

She also draws a critical distinction that changes everything:

Endurance is not vitality. Surviving is not thriving.

And she gets honest about her own reckoning — the moment she realized that real leadership isn't about stabilizing everything around her. It's about discernment. About knowing where to place her energy and where to finally, deliberately, stop.

The question this episode leaves you with:

Where are you still running survival-led energy in situations that no longer require your survival?

Because awareness is always where the reclamation begins.

Ready to untangle the patterns running underneath your exhaustion?

The Untangling is a focused three session experience designed to find the knot beneath the strategy — the nervous system story that has been quietly making decisions on your behalf for longer than you know.

Not therapy. Not a program. Just three sessions to find it, name it, and begin to loosen it.
