  • A Gentle Body Scan
    2026/09/12
A guided body scan you can return to whenever you have a few minutes to sit and practice. Find a comfortable position and follow along. The body scan is a traditional mindfulness practice. Attention moves slowly through the body — from the top of the head down to the feet — giving the mind a simple, embodied object to rest on. Along the way, you notice sensations you usually move through without seeing. Whatever you find is fine. There is nothing to fix and nothing to change. The practice is simply to notice. This is one of the most accessible ways to begin or continue a meditation practice, and it works just as well in the morning, on a break, or before sleep. I'm Stefan — a meditation teacher trained in the Tibetan Vajrayana tradition under the guidance of Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, with 15+ years of practice.
