A few hours after recording her episode on “Trust” Caitlin received a call that turned her world upside down. It was about the loss of someone very, very close to her. Although she’s not ready to do an episode on grief or loss just yet, she knew this next episode needed to be related to the current season she is walking through. The only thing showing up as often as her sadness is the overwhelming support of her friends and family. She talks about the importance of supporting your people in bad times and in good times. You hear some stories about her last two weeks that detail the support she has felt. She talks about why she thinks it has been hard for her to ask for support and the lessons she has learned by “putting her pride aside” and asking for it. Caitlin also tells some stories about times when people have shown up for her in good times and why that makes her most joyous moments better.
