Billy Hennessey is bringing his appetite—and his opinions—from the pages of The Macon Telegraph to the microphone for the premiere of Let’s Eat!

After introducing the new podcast and its companion weekly food feature in the Telegraph, Billy unveils the Macon Burger Squad: a group of fellow food lovers recruited to help him tackle every featured creation during Macon Burger Week. Together, they get their first look at a selection of this year’s entries, from pickle-packed patties and jalapeño popper burgers to prime rib, street corn, waffles and even a burger made entirely of cupcakes.

The Squad shares what makes a great burger, debates the week’s most tempting contenders and begins planning how to conquer approximately 27 burgers in just 10 days. Billy also reveals the new Gold Burger Award, which will be selected by Billy and the Burger Squad after tasting their way through the complete lineup.
