Live from New York...it's a blizzard- 20 inches worth of the glorious white stuff in Central Park. And that's straight from the mouth of a Manhattanite who was kind enough to tell us about it and document the uber-creative snowmen from Central Park and Tompkins Park. Thank you, Shay Hempeck!

Also, a positive update on Punch, the sad monkey in the Ichikawa Zoo in Japan. Punch now has a compassionate defender in the mean monkey clique.
