Bees, please, and butterflies, too! We need them to pollinate our fruits and vegetables, so, yeah, they're pretty important. Our guests this week on #ladieswhoquestion care deeply about keeping our Earth healthy, and they are doing something about it. Sue Raymour of Lake Bluff launched
Growing Native Habitat Lake Bluff, roughly 8 years ago, and along with others, worked very hard to get the Village of Lake Bluff certified as a native habitat. Micki Collins is also a member and is leading the project, Witness Tree Quest, a project to find the oldest native tree in Lake Bluff. Everyone in Lake Bluff is invited to participate, and it runs through September. There are a lot of old-growth trees in Lake Bluff, and Micki hopes that someone finds the Granddaddy of them all! Please listen and give us a like and subscribe. Thanks for listening!
