“धूप कमरे में आती है। सूर्य नहीं आता। बारिश के दिन लगातार तीन दिन की धूप की जरूरत थी। इससे ज्यादा दिन की धूप नहीं चाहता था” – ये पंक्ति है विनोद कुमार शुक्ल लिखित “नौकर की कमीज” किताब से। इसी एक पंक्ति में इस किताब का सार दिखाई दे जाता है। शीर्षक “नौकर की कमीज” प्रतीक है एक ढांचे का, एक सोच का कि ये कमीज ऐसी है कि जो इसमें अच्छी तरह फिट हो जाएगा, वो नौकर कहलाएगा। जैसे कमीज न होकर एक साँचा हो।

बहुत सहज सरल लहजे में लिखी ये किताब कहानी कहती है हमारे समाज में स्थापित अलग-अलग वर्गों की, जिसमें निचले दर्जे पर सबसे गरीब, जैसे इस कहानी में मँहगू, फिर निम्न-मध्यमवर्गीय संतू बाबू, जो स्वयं ये कहानी कहानी कह रहे हैं, फिर आते हैं “बड़े बाबू” और उनके भी ऊपर बड़े साहब, और डॉक्टर साहब जैसे लोग। संतू बाबू का जीवन घर से शुरू होकर दफ्तर और बीच में शहर की गलियों में बीतता है और जो वो देखते हैं, सुनते हैं उसी में उस समय के समाज का एक खाका खिंच जाता है। उपन्यास 1979 में लिखा गया है तो समाज भी कुछ उसी समय का है.

This book is a true story of espionage, a true depiction of Mohanlal’s (author) entry into Pakistan during the Indo-Pak war of 1965, his arrest due to a betrayal and long prison torture. This book is not just a compilation of some courageous and sensible incidents, but also a historical analysis of the then situation of Pakistan. Along with exposing Pakistan's so-called Bhuttoist democracy, the ever-strengthening dictatorship and religious fanaticism and its socio-economic contradictions, it has also investigated those international sources of anti-India conspiracies, the incurable result of which we are facing in the form of 'Khalistani' ulcer.

While on one hand Bhaskar has told about the hellish condition of Pakistani jails and inhuman behavior of jail officials, on the other hand he has also underlined the humane behavior of the Pakistani people and a person like Major Ayyaz Ahmed Sipra. Let’s hear more from Dr. Vasudha Mishra

डॉ वसुधा मिश्र इस हफ्ते हमसे साझा कर रही हैं - मोहनलाल भास्कर का अनुभव उनकी किताब में - "मैं पाकिस्तान में भारत का जासूस था"। ये किताब कहती है एक सिहरन पैदा कर देने वाली दास्तान, सत्य घटनाओं का वर्णन, कैसे मोहनलल भास्कर पाकिस्तान गए, वहाँ की जेलों में रहे, वहाँ क्या क्या हुआ और कैसे वो रिहा होके वापस आए।

इसमें 1965 के भारत-पाक युद्ध के दौरान लेखक के पाकिस्तान-प्रवेश, मित्रघात के कारण गिरफ़्तारी और लम्बी जेल-यातना का जीवंत चित्रण हुआ है। यह कृति कुछ साहसी और सूझबूझ-भरी घटनाओं का संकलन मात्र नहीं है, बल्कि पाकिस्तान के तत्कालीन हालात का भी ऐतिहासिक विश्लेषण करती है। इसमें पाकिस्तान के तथाकथित भुट्टोवादी लोकतंत्र, तानाशाही और धार्मिक कठमुल्लावाद और उसके सामाजिक-आर्थिक अन्तर्विरोधों को उघाड़ने के साथ-साथ भारत-विरोधी षड्यंत्रों के उन अन्तरराष्ट्रीय सूत्रों की भी पड़ताल की गई है, जिसके एक असाध्य परिणाम को हम ‘ख़ालिस्तानी’ नासूर की शक्ल में झेल रहे हैं। उसमें जहाँ एक ओर भास्कर ने पाकिस्तानी जेलों की नारकीय स्थिति, जेल-अधिकारियों के अमानवीय व्यवहार के बारे में बताया है, वहीं पाकिस्तानी अवाम और मेजर अय्याज अहमद सिपरा जैसे व्यक्ति के इंसानी बर्ताव को भी रेखांकित किया है।

हेमा जो अब तक चार किताबें लिख चुकी हैं, उन्हीं के शब्दों में - "मैं नज़ाकत और नफ़ासत के शहर लखनऊ से हूँ। आजकल मेल्बर्न में रहती हूँ। मैंने MCA किया और कुछ समय सॉफ़्ट्वेर एंजिनियर की तरह काम किया है। लेखन मेरा शौक़ है। मेरी कलम वो मथनी है जिससे मैं अंतर्मन का सागर मथती हूँ। कभी भावों के रत्न, प्रेम का ऐरावत, तो कभी शिव को नीलकंठ बना देने वाले हलाहल को सामने लाती हूँ”। हेमा ने अब तक “तुम तक”, “संभल ऐ दिल”, “उड़ान”, “तेरे इश्क़ में”, और “धुरंधर” किताबें लिखी हैं।

इस एपिसोड में हम बात कर रहे हैं पीयूष मिश्रा के कविता संग्रह “कुछ इश्क़ किया कुछ काम किया” पर। इसके पिछले अंक में पीयूष जी का एक संदेश भी है और उनके मित्र अरुण कालरा जी से एक वार्ता भी। वैसे तो पीयूष जी को किसी परिचय की आवश्यकता नहीं – ये भारत के सबसे हरफनमौला कलाकारों में शुमार हैं और इन्हें हम निराला और कबीर की श्रेणी में एक फक्कड़ कवि भी कह सकते हैं। पीयूष मिश्रा की कविताओं में आपको महादेवी वर्मा वाला प्रणय, सौन्दर्य, अलंकार, ताल-छंद नहीं मिलेगा और वो इसके लिए प्रयास भी नहीं करते। वो अपनी बात कहते हैं, एक बेचैनी, एक खुरदुरेपन के साथ (as in rough edges), और वही इनकी कविता का आकर्षण हो जाता है।

You will not find Mahadevi Verma's love, beauty, ornamentation, rhythm and rhyme in Piyush Mishra's poems and he does not even try for it. He speaks his words with an uneasiness, restlessness, a roughness, and this becomes the attraction of his poetry - the same thing is reflected in his songs.
