  • River Sounds for Sleeping | 3 Hours Aboard a Mississippi Riverboat at Night, No Talking
    2026/09/12
Three hours of a stern wheel churning softly astern and the river sliding along a wooden hull, the gentle working creak of a big timber boat settling through the night, with no talking at all. This is the same boat from our Mississippi Riverboat After Dark story, running a calm river under clear stars. Black screen friendly.

You will hear the steady soft beat of the paddle wheel, water along the hull, and the slow creak of old timber, low and constant, with no music, no voice, and no whistles or bells to startle you awake.

  • Fountain Sounds for Sleeping | 3 Hours in a Silk Road Courtyard Under Desert Stars, No Talking
    2026/09/05
Three hours of a small stone fountain running in the courtyard of an ancient Silk Road caravanserai, the desert night wind low beyond the thick walls and the camels settled in the straw, with no talking at all. This is the same inn from our Night at a Silk Road Caravanserai story, its gates barred against the cold desert night. Black screen friendly.

You will hear water falling softly into a stone basin, a low steady desert wind beyond the walls, and the occasional quiet shift of resting animals, with no music and no voice.

  • You walk Istanbul by lantern light and fall asleep in a merchant's han | 3 Hour Sleep Story, No Mid Roll Ads
    2026/09/02
Fall asleep inside history. Tonight you are a traveler lodged in a stone han near the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul, almost four hundred years ago, on a clear cold evening in the greatest city in the world. You watch the covered bazaar close gate by gate at dusk, then walk out into a city where, by law, every person abroad after dark carries their own lantern, so the night streets become a field of slow moving stars. A seller of boza calls in the lane and you drink a gently warmed cup with cold hands. You spend an hour in a coffeehouse in its first great century, with a storyteller and the quiet click of backgammon, then walk home along the Golden Horn past the tethered caiques of the ferrymen while the muezzins' last call is answered from hill to hill across the water. The han gate is barred behind you, the courtyard fountain runs, and a brazier of coals and a thick quilt are waiting in your room.

You will hear the stone hush of the han courtyard, a small fountain running at its center, coals settling in the brazier, a plane tree whispering over the roofs, and the far slow footsteps of the watchman with his swinging lantern.

This is a three hour sleep story. The narration ends softly in the third hour, and then the quiet courtyard continues to the end. Black screen friendly.
