    2026/09/11

Kay and Jessie Jay embrace the beautifully chaotic reality of motherhood, homeschooling, and running a household. They talk through teaching kids to read when English is actually the worst language; rearranging bedrooms (or basically half of the entire house, if you're Kay); and the deeply personal rules that determine the perfect night’s sleep because top sheets, pants, and socks just don't belong in bed. It's all things home-related in today's episode and we can all pretend that was totally intentional.

  • he did it (all things current pop culture and random musings)
    2026/09/04

We are, of course, talking about both Alani and Taco Bell in this episode, because we're literally just girls. But we're also chatting Dolly Parton, Hayden Panettiere, and Lindsay Clancy. Kay was also today years old when she learned that Jessie has a girl crush on Ruby Rose. We're just a couple of millennial moms who think the 2000s were ten years ago and we're squeezing in a full conversation between homeschooling and nap time.

  • KAY AND THE CHAOS: a stream of consciousness (Fall, trad wife life, and random current musings)
    2026/08/28

A stream of consciousness and hitting all of the hot topics that are currently swirling around in my brain (and somewhat relevant/appropriate for the pod). Pumpkin coffee, early Fall, Witches Brew Alani, anxiety medication, 30 Strong and other challenges, customer service, the status of the Kind Moms Club Instagram account, the "extra" moms, starting a new podcast, and changing who I am into something I never saw coming. I told you, a little bit of everything! Tune in, pretend we're on a coffee date together, and get ready for me to word vomit all of the things!

  • picante (spicy spirals, daily mom things, and pumpkin spice butts)
    2026/08/21

If you have never once wished your butt crack smelled like pumpkin spice, you're in the right place. If you have...well, we might not be your cup of tea. We're chatting about the stress (and face twitch) of trying to do everything as a working, homeschooling SAHM who also maybe wants a house that's kinda clean. Jessie is live - and spicy - from Tennessee, Kay's high-dose anxiety meds aren't working, and we're as random as ever today.

  • be our unhinged third wheel (spiraling, supplements, and such)
    2026/08/14

This episode is so chaotic, I figured I would just ask the recording platform's AI component to give me a massive list of topics and use that as the description, so here ya go:

    • Chaotic podcast start and technical difficulties
    • Pumpkin coffee and fall drinks
    • Alani / energy drink flavors and Sam’s Club shortages
    • Weather, storms, and Florida updates
    • Video lag issues and MacBook camera problems
    • Coffee shirt and podcast merch mention
    • Lunch talk: quesadilla, nuggets, ramen
    • “Why wouldn’t I do well in war?” internet trend
    • Husband-generated roast list about war
    • Being tired, overwhelmed, and juggling many roles
    • Vitamin D, B12, magnesium, and supplement talk
    • Energy crashes and mom life burnout
    • Kids, routines, and household chaos
    • Shoes, laundry, and messy-home confessions
    • Nails, hair, lashes, and self-care maintenance
    • General friendship banter and funny off-topic tangents

Wasn't that fun? Thanks for being our third wheel and we love you so much.

  • more fun and games
    2026/07/31

Kay has two more games up her sleeve for Jessie, but not before we talk about running. Tune in to find out what kind of coffee we are, if Kay is in her Taylor Swift era, and unhinged moments about things going on in our lives right now. Motherhood is, in fact, all fun and games!

  • KAY AND THE CHAOS: unbecoming, part three - the rebuilding
    2026/07/24

This is the final episode in the three-episode series, unbecoming, where Kay is diving into how she is becoming herself by unbecoming the old version. Once she released the old version of herself, Kay was face-to-face with reflections and prayers that led her to places she never expected. Traumas resurfaced, some that were previously suppressed and "forgotten", and the work began through faith, presence, patience, and love. From operating more in her feminine/soft side to laying it all at God's feet, Kay is sharing the ways she's rebuilding who she is as a changed person.

Be sure to come back for part three!
