  • Reinventing Yourself Without Losing Yourself (Is it time for a change?)
    2026/08/22

There are certain seasons in a woman’s life when she looks around and wonders, Is it time for something to change?

Sometimes those moments arrive with a birthday. Sometimes with an empty nest, a career change, a relationship shift, a loss, a new opportunity—or simply the realization that the woman you were twenty years ago isn't exactly the woman you are today.

But reinvention doesn't mean taking an eraser to your life.

In this episode of Keepin’ It Real, we're talking about what it looks like to reinvent yourself without losing yourself. What would people be surprised to learn about who you were in your 20s, 40s—or even who you're becoming now? What have you carried with you? And what have you discovered it's okay to leave behind?

Because sometimes change isn't about a new haircut, makeup, wardrobe, or color palette. (Although we're certainly not opposed to any of those!)

    It's something deeper.

We're not lost. We're not running away from who we've been or desperately trying to become somebody else. We're allowing ourselves to grow—and asking the Lord, “Who are You calling me to be in this season?”

Maybe reinvention isn't really about becoming someone new at all.

Maybe it's about giving God permission to uncover more of the woman He created you to be all along.

And we'd love to keep this conversation going beyond the podcast. If you host a podcast, conference, women's event, church group, or gathering and think your audience would enjoy this conversation, we'd love to talk about joining you.

Because wherever you are in your story, we believe there is still more ahead.

You don't have to erase who you've been to make room for who you're becoming.

  • When the People in Our Life Change
    2026/08/09

Take a look back at your life five years ago. Who did you talk to all the time? Who was part of your everyday world? Now look at your life today. Chances are, the picture has changed.

In this episode of Keepin’ It Real, we’re talking about the natural shifts that happen in our relationships as life moves forward. Sometimes people move away. Seasons change. Kids grow up. Jobs change. We get older. Priorities shift. And yes, sometimes we simply outgrow a relationship, or realize it belonged beautifully to a particular season.

That doesn’t mean something went wrong.

We talk about the harder side of those transitions, too: What do you do when someone who once played a significant role in your life simply isn’t part of it anymore? How do you honor what a relationship was without believing you have to somehow recreate it? And how do you stay open to the new people God may be bringing into your life?

Growing is a good thing. And sometimes part of growing is recognizing that not everyone is meant to occupy the same place in every chapter.

You’re not necessarily losing something. You may simply be making room for what—and who—is part of the season ahead.

Pull up a chair and join us. We’re Keepin’ It Real about friendships, changing seasons, letting go without bitterness, and trusting that God knows exactly who we need along the way.
